"You're suppose to help her! So, Help her!"
"Yeah, you belong here but I don't"
(Author's Note: Half of this chapter is going to be written from the third person's point of view. I hope you don't mind and I hope you like the idea.)
Glenn sat beside Rain's bed, the entire time she were out, just holding her hand.
Rain had an IV line in her hand which they had managed to stick to the wall but she hasn't showed any signs of waking up since she passed out just the night before.
Many more people were getting sick with this mysterious virus and it were killing half of the prison's people.
They were burying more bodies than they can handle and it weren't getting any easier to handle the patients, especially with Hershel being the only doctor on hand at the moment but the man can only deal with so much at a time.
"Glenn, I need your help out here" Hershel said by the door of Rain's cell and Glenn nodded, not taking his eyes of Rain as he slowly stood up, still holding her hand.
"I'll be right back" Glenn whispered to Rain before he kissed her hand then gently placed it on the bed before he followed Hershel out.
However, he did stop to make sure the cell door was secure closed, just in case an turned patient tries to get into the cell.
Rain laid on that bed for what seemed like days but really was just hours.
That seemed to get longer as everyone were waiting for her to wake up or give any sign that she is alive.
Glenn came back to her side at any chance he got and her brothers were by the front cell block gate, waiting on news on their sister.
They would go off if needed but would come back to the gate even though Hershel has told them many times that it's not safe for them to be here.
"Let me do another check up" Hershel told the anxious man just to give him peace of mind and Glenn moved so the doctor could get to Rain's side where he did a regluar check up and checked her IV bag.
Hershel sat down in the chair beside the bed and stared at the girl a little baffled with his thoughts which didn't seem to ease Glenn who started to panic.
"What is wrong with her?" Glenn asked and Hershel sighed.
"That's the thing. Everything's normal" Hershel stated and Glenn frowned.
"So, why isn't she waking up then?" Glenn asked and Hershel shrugged, "What is that? You don't know. You are suppose to help her! So, Help her!" Glenn added raising his voice.
"I have done everything I can for her so this could be her doing" Hershel replied and seemed to be in thought as he watched Rain for a moment who seemed to be twitching a little.
"What does that mean?" Glenn asked and Hershel looked at him.
"Meaning she doesn't want to wake up" Hershel stated and Glenn frowned even more confused, "For some reason, Rain is telling herself to not wake up" He added.
