"Let me introduce an old friend of mine"

"I'm sorry, Glenn"

'- Rain'

Deanna held a funeral for her husband and I attended with Maggie and Glenn on behalf of the group. Rick had said that Pete doesn't deserve to be buried with the others in which Deanna agreed. So, Rick and Daryl took Pete far outside of Alexandria to dispose of him in the woods, in an unmarked grave.

"Thank you for coming" Deanna told us in which we gave her smiles as Maggie held her hands to try and give her some comfort.

"I'll walk you back home" Maggie said before turning the grieving woman around and pulled her into her side before walking off with her.

"The last actual funeral I attended was my father's and even that wasn't an actual one" I stated turning then walked away myself.
"Your father didn't have a funeral?" Glenn asked moving to walk beside me.

"Not exactly. My father wasn't exactly a good guy so the funeral was private with only close family and friends so we burned him old Viking style" I explained and Glenn raised an eyebrow.

"You like to mention this a lot but you never explain" Glenn stated and I frowned at him.
"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"You talk about your father and I can tell you admire him but there is always a part that seems to be missing" He said and I sighed before turning to face him, making us stop.

"I didn't want to tell you this because I didn't want you to think bad of me" I told him and He chuckled before grabbing my hands.

"Trust me, I love you so there is nothing you can tell me that will scare me away" He told me and I smiled, blushing slightly at his words.

"You remember when I told you that Mason and I took on the work so the twins didn't have to? That we were all trained since we were young?" I asked and Glenn frowned in thought before he nodded his head at me.

"Yeah before we took over the prison" Glenn replied and I nodded my head at him.
"Well, my mother left because she hated the life that my father lead but because of this, my father raised us in said life" I explained.

"Okay, so what life did your father lead?" Glenn asked and I sighed before groaning at myself because I don't really want to tell him.

"He was a Mafia boss" I quickly said closing my eyes and then it went quiet between us.

"You have said it before as a joke but..." He said then trailed off as he tried to digest it.
"No, he was the boss of the gang, Hydra. And we were raised in that life, he died because he were shot by the enemy" I explained to him.

"Oh okay that's a lot to take in" He said letting go off my hands and I nodded my head.
"No, that's understandable so take your time" I said taking a step back from him.

"No, I don't need time, we all have a past and this happens to be yours" He said grabbing my hands again, making me look at him, "You can't help that and look we are in a whole new world now" He told him and I looked at him in awe as I smiled, "I still love you, Rain" He added which made me smile before I gave him a hug, wrapping my arms around his neck.
