Growth

Moss moulded over a boulder
Softening it's still surface.
A year's worth of breaking the mould
That grew over my shoulder.
And a mold that made me wiser
As I got a little older.
Mellowed out the harshness,
Sustained by the sun.
Surrounded by prosper,
Look how pretty I've become.
Endured a little rain,
And was nourished, not drowned.
Climbed above a rock
And picked myself off the ground.
Anticipating the next era of growth,
And now I'm aiming to tower.
This year I'll stand a little taller
And finally bloom a flower.
