Chapter 16; Park Secrets

okay guys im gonna write this in 3rd person just to try it out so im sorry if this sucks

Ashton and Ashley ended up sleeping on her bed, since they didn't want to leave each other's arms. They loved each other, everyone knew that. Everyone except theirselves.

Ashley never felt the way she did with Ash before, but she doesn't know what to do. Ashton loves her, he knows that, but he's afraid of being rejected. That's all they were, naïve.

"Ash," She whispered, gently tapping his arm.

"Ash," Ashley tried once again, this time pushing his body.

"NOOB!" She screamed. Ashton woke up confused, not knowing what was happening. Ashley just kept on laughing at his reaction. Who wouldn't?

"Get dressed cause we're gonna eat breakfast" Ashley declared as Ashton walked to the bathroom to change. She decided to text Michael and invite them to the late breakfast.

Ashley laughed at his response as her future boyfriend stepped out of the bathroom. He was wearing a white shirt, black skinny jeans, the red flannel Ashley gave him, and black vans.

Ashley smiled because she knew he cared whether he wore the flannel or not. He smiled back, admiring her beauty.

"Let's go and pick up Gordon," Ashley declared as Ashton nodded. They intertwined their fingers together and walked to the car.

"What would you like?" The waitress asked. She had beautiful brown hair and blue eyes. Ashley looked at the two boys in front of her but she noticed that they were checking the waitress out. She rolled her eyes and looked at the menu.

"Can I have 3 bacon and egg combos?" Ashley said as the waitress nodded and went back to the kitchen.

"I will fxcking kill you both if you don't stop staring at her," The annoyed girl said. Secretly, she was jealous. She wished Ashton looked at her like that.

In reality, he actually does. He's just looking at the waitress -her name was Betsy- cause he thought she was beautiful, but not as beautiful as Ashley. She has it all wrong. 

"Not my fault she's hot," Michael said as Ashley noticed the waitress walking to their table with the food. Betsy put the breakfast in front of them, but when she gave Ashley her food, she winked. 

Ashley was as confused as ever. The two boys with her didn't notice, they were too busy with the food. So she just shrugged it off and ate her food also.

When they were done Ashley, of course, asked for the bill. She placed the money on the tray and noticed something on the receipt.

Ashley's eyes widened as she read the letter. She showed the other guys as they laughed at her and looked at the waitress.

"This is weird as fxck," Michael said, causing the two too laugh. They all knew she was beautiful, they just didn't expect her to, well, like girls.

Ashley and Ashton dropped Michael off of his house and went to the park. They wanted to -and as cheesy as it sounds- spend time together.

But, there was something that caught their eye. It was their two friends kissing behind the tree.

Ashton never knew Luke and Erica liked each other, they never showed it. It was weird for both of them, watching their best friends eat their faces off.

As much as they were tempted to break them up and ask why the hell they were kissing, they didn't. So, both of them went back to Ashton's house.

"So," Ashton said as they entered the room.

"Luke and Erica?" Ashley reassured as Ashton nodded. They had a silence for a while, until Ashton decided that he just couldn't take it anymore. He crashed his lips onto Ashley.
