everyone had left, and it was just you and Levi. As you were about to get up and walk out of the mess hall, his voice caught your attention.

"oi, aren't you coming?" you turned around slightly. "where?" "dumbass." he walked away as you paced up behind him.

He opens the big doors, showing the beautiful scenery outside. "oh, yeah." you said, simply sitting down on the steps.

Levi closed the double doors as he took a seat beside you. you both looked up into the sky. you slowly laid down on the cold pavement. "what are you doing?" Levi asked.

"enjoying the night." he lays down next to you, looking into the black starry night sky. "it's kind of awkward laying here with you, after you kissed me two times." you giggled.

"sorry."

"don't be. it's okay."

"really. it's okay that I've kissed you, and your acting like nothing happened?"

"well, I want to hear how you feel.."

"how I feel?"

"yes Levi, how do you feel.. about me?"

he glanced to his right to look at you.

"why are you asking."

"because you kissed me."

"how do you feel."

"I'm asking you that." you speak. "well.." he sits up as you sit up as well, as you hiss.

"hey, Hange told you to be more careful." He says touching your torso. "it's healed, a little." "yeah but not enough, brat."

"I've been t-thinking about it too.." you utter. "about.. your feelings?" "yeah.. but I want to hear yours first."

"I... you go first." you glare at him as you fold your arms. "come on!" you groaned.

"fine. I'll go first, wimp. I— I think I like you."

you say quietly. a pink tint goes over your cheeks.

"I just think.."

"I think I like you too."

he says. "I just don't think we will be good together, because, I might.. die." Levi widens his eyes. "what are you saying?"

"I've gotten myself injured a bunch of times already. if we get closer, and I die, you'll be devastated."

Levi cups your face in his hands.

"who said you could die? that's why I try to protect you the most. that's why I told you, you need to think about your life instead." "I just.. doubt myself." he leans his face closer to yours.

"don't doubt yourself, either way, I'll never let that happen to you." he points to the sky.

"see those stars, they are very special, and they glow when it's dark, when there's hard times. you act just like that, because your my star."

tears start to form in your eyes as you chuckle. "you sound so dumb, talking to one of your comrades like this."

"I do?"

"yes, you do."

"too bad."

he leans in as you lean in too. the kiss is more passionate than the other two. tears streamed down your face, as you smiled.

"I love you." he whispers while pulling away.

"I.... I love you too."
