"I'm so sorry, Lucy. I'm just exhausted from swimming and school. I don't know why I didn't wake up to my notifications."

"I know babe. I'm sorry for freaking out. Your poor mama was worried sick about you. You called her back didn't you?" I don't know if it's just the mic, but it sounds like she's been crying. Could she have really been that worried?

"I messaged her, but I had to talk to you before you called the police." She laughs.

"I wasn't really going to call them until I came to your apartment and checked on you, but I see my threat worked perfectly."

"Oh whatever, it wasn't even your message that woke me up. Anyway, what's so important that you had to nearly give my mother a heart attack??"

"Oh yeah! It's official. You and Dream are gonna collab!"

"YESSSSSSS! SO WORTH THE WORRY!" I shout, not bothering to be courteous of her ears... or my neighbors.

"I know girly! Now go talk to your mama. Love you."

"Love you too, Lucy. Thank you SO SO much for this."

"Of course babe. Goodnight." And with that, she hangs up. Before I call my mom, I decide to look through my other notifications, starting with Thomas.
