Chapter #26: Endling

Duke was at the graveyard waiting inside his car. He saw people exiting from the graveyard so he jumped out of his car and walked inside the graveyard.

Graveyard...... Graveyard is like a mirrror.... A bitter truth....A truth from which mankind runs away as far as possible and doesnot want to accept at any cost.

Graveyard is an auction of great legendary people resting in peace, tired of their jobs in this world spending their remaining time at peace CARELESS FROM THE WORLD AND THEIR BELOVED ONES.

We are so lost in the hurries of this cruel world disguised in a garden of happiness when suddenly in a flash of light everything ends, Leaving everthing. Nothing is eternal except LOVE!!!!

He saw a graveyard with rose petals over it and a lady crying over it. He approached her slowly. He realized that she was Ryan's mother. He packed up his courage as he couldn't face her.He approached her and put his hand on her shoulder as she was dying for her son.

"You know he killed himself to save you!!!" She answered cracking leant over his grave.

He kept quite as he couldn't answer her.

"I was at the door when he shot himself. He was dying inside, I could only hear his voices pleading!!he was helpless but I couldn't do anything!!"

"I know......." Duke answered her emotionally.

"He didn't deserved that death.." she stood up facing him. Her facial skin was wet with tears.

"You should be the one dead..... He never killed her...You know that"

"I always seek only one answer, WHY RYAN,WHYY! WHY ONLY YOU?"

"HOW CAN HE BE SO CARELESS. DOES THIS THOUGHT IRRITATED HIM THAT HOW WILL I LIVE WITHOUT HIM"

He started biting his lips grunting. His guilt was rising and he was preventing eye contact with her.

"Doesn't it lit the fire inside you.... he called you his brother... you grew up together" she answered him angrily.

"These fucking people.. They just appeared at his funeral fulfilling their duty. I know how does it feels to loose a son!!" She was soo lost delivering those words when suddenly her mind sequeled that memory.

"He was alone when he died.... How hard it must be for him baring that pain... My boy was innocent... he was kind hearted, Whyy!! DUKE WHYYY.Why did he choose that path?" she delivered those words sniveling for him.

Duke remembered his words he delivered to Ryan showing his hatred at his decision of confessing to jury.

He placed his palm over her head while tears pouring from his eyes.

"I swear to God!!! Eye for an eye!!! I won't kill him, I will make him beg me for his death" he answered in a breaking voice.

"He is my brother... I will avenge him" Duke satisfied her.

"Oh God!! My boy..... My boyyyyy" she cried in pain while her head covered with her hands.
