Once she came out of memory lane, Eliza congratulated her dad and went into her room. The second she shut the door, she raced to her bed and sobbed into her pillow.
She needed a hug. From Leila, maybe. Or Angie's world-famous snuggles. Or her twin's arm over her shoulders, the closest he ever got to a hug. Or her mom's chin on top of her head. But then she realized. Her dad was still here. Even if she had lost three-fifths of her family, she still had him. She jumped up, threw open her door, and ran into her daddy's arms.
