Jane sat on her bed, still in shock. After a few minutes of sitting there numbly, she picked up her sketchbook and began drawing a man. She had always loved to draw; it was something she and her dad had in common. Once the picture began to take shape, she realized she had been subconsciously drawing her father, whom she hadn't seen in a year.
And then she remembered.
She didn't want to remember.
But she did.
