Chapter 18
All of me, Why not take all of me
Can't you see, I'm no good without you
Take my lips, I want to loose them
Take my arms, I'll never use themAll Of Me by John Legend

My eyes snap open and I quickly sit up in the bed and look around. It had to be a dream right? Dean isn't dead...he can't be... "Rise and shine, Skylar!" I hear Dean yell over the music. Wait this song was in my dream...I look over at Dean and he is sitting on the other bed, tying his shoes. He's wearing the same clothes as he did in my dream. I stare at him. So it was a dream. Dean is alive. "Dude. Asia." Dean says as I look at the clock radio. This isn't making sense. Why is everything that happened in my dream happening?
"Dean." I say. "Oh, come on, you love this song and you know it." He says as he turns the volume up and starts bopping along, exactly like he did in my dream. I stare after him. It wasn't a dream...I get up and go into the bathroom where Dean is gargling loudly and annoying. I brush my teeth then drink some water and swish it then I spit it out. "What?" Dean asks. "I don't know." I sigh. "You all right?" He asks. "I think I..." I pause. "Dean, I had a weird dream." I sigh. "Yeah? Was it clowns?" He asks.
~DINER~
The door chimes as we walk in and I watch as the cashier gives a man some change. "Drive safely now, Mr. Pickett." She says. "Yeah, yeah." He says. "Order up." I hear someone yell from the kitchen. "Can't stay unless you order something, Cal. You know the rules." A waitress says.
Cal passes her some change. "Some coffee." He says. Dean grabs my hand and I focus my attention on him. "Hey. Tuesday. Pig in a poke." He says. I glance between Dean and the poster. "It's Tuesday?" I ask. "Yeah." Dean says as we sit down. "Are you two ready?" Doris asks. "Yes, I'll have the special, side of bacon and a coffee." Dean says. This can't be happening. It can't be Tuesday again. "Uh, nothing for me, thanks." I say.
"Let me know if you change your mind." She says and walks away. "I'm telling you, Skye, this job is small fry. We should be spending our time hunting down Bela." Dean says as I stare after Doris. "Hey." Dean says and snaps his fingers at me. "You with me?" He asks. "What?" I ask looking at him. "You sure you feel okay?" Dean asks and I sigh. "You don't...you don't remember? Any of this?" I ask. "Remember what?" He asks. "This. Today. Like it's...like it's...happened before?" I ask. "You mean like déjà vu?" He asks. "No, I mean like, like it's really happened before." I say.
"Yeah. Like déjà vu." He says. "No, forget about déjà vu. I'm asking you if it feels like, like we're living yesterday all over again." I sigh. "Okay, how is that not de—" "Don't, don't say it! Just don't even..." I glare as Doris arrives with a tray with one coffee and the hot sauce. "Coffee, black, and some hot sauce for the..." I see the hot sauce wobble on the tray and I catch it as it falls. Doris gasps and I stare at the bottle in my hand then give it back.
"Thanks." She says and puts down the bottle and leaves. "Nice reflexes babe." Dean says. I swallow, frustrated and confused.
~STREET~
The dog barks as we pass and I stare at it over my shoulder. "Skye, I'm sorry, but I don't know what the hell you're talking about." Dean says. "Okay, look. Yesterday was Tuesday, right? But today is Tuesday too." I say looking at him. "Yeah. No. Good. You're totally balanced." He says. "So you don't believe me?!" I yell as he laughs and collides with the blonde girl.
"Excuse me." She says. "Look, I'm just saying that it's crazy, you know, I mean, even for us crazy. Dingo ate my baby crazy." He says. "Okay, look, we were at the Mystery Spot, and then..." I trail off and hold back the tears that I feel are starting to form. "And then what?" He asks. "Then I woke up." I say as we pass the movers.
"Told you it wouldn't fit." The first mover says. "What do you want, a Pulitzer?" The second asks. "Wait a minute! The Mystery Spot. You think maybe it..." I trail off. "Maybe what?" He asks. "We gotta check that place out. Look, just...go with me on this, okay?" I ask. "All right, all right, we'll go tonight, after close, get ourselves a nice long look." He says and I realize what he says and I turn around. "Wait, what? No." I say.
"Why not?" Dean asks. "Uhhh...Let's just go now. Right now. Business hours, nice and crowded." I say. "My god, your turning into a freak like Sam." He says. "Dean." I sigh. I just don't want him to die again. I can't let that happen. "Okay! Whatever. We'll go now." Dean says and walks a few feet ahead of me and looks to his right as he enters the street. I gasp as a car slams into him from his left.
"Dean!" I scream and rush to him. "Dean, no, no, no." I cry as I kneel down and put his head on my lap. There is blood on his face and is barely moving. "Come on! Dean." I sob and I look over at Mr. Pickett who is leaning out of the now-stopped ca. I glare at him and then I look back at Dean. "Hey. Dean." I choke out but he doesn't move.
