Following Lee Gon's departure, Tae-Eul started thinking a lot about him. Her courtyard reminded her of Maximus and Lee Gon. They left a strong impression on her, in her life. As, TE walked towards the police station, she remembered Lee Gon, what he said to her. The things which are hard to forget. Which are bothering her-
"I've finally met you Lieutenant Jeong Tae-Eul." Why did he say finally?
"It's not that I didn't know how to get back. I just didn't want to go." He said he didn't want to go but now he left, disappeared from her life. She din receive any calls from him, she couldn't see Maximus in her courtyard, after he bid goodbye to her earlier that day.
"So is this a parallel world? Prove it. The proof is right in front of you. I came from the other world." These train of thoughts pushed her to believe his parallel world stories.

As she was working on her case, looking at the case summary. "TE (voice-over): Evidence that points to another evidence" As she think about the evidence.. she remembers the conversation they had in Bamboo forest as they walked. Lee Gon asking her-
"Why did you become a detective? I was born into my profession. The King. I am curious as to how others grow to have aspirations."
"You know its sounds cocky right?"
"Maybe, but I go through things that others don't go through because of this"
She tells him that she watched 'The police" with her dad when she was little. By eight years, she could tell who the criminal was on the show.
"So, it was your talent."
"No, its the reruns."
LG laughs. TE continues saying that as she watched the show, she wanted to be a cop.
"It's dangerous to be a cop. "
"I know (with a smile on her face) Not everyone in the world can be brave. So I decided to become brave."
LG stops walking to face her. TE stops and turns to see him. LG says "That's cool, Lieutenant Jeong Tae-Eul."
She then asks him "So, that's my story. Tell me what kind of a King Kim gae-dong is. she then continues.. A young, (Looks away, soft smile) handsome & rich king?"
LG looking away, focused on thinking "A rower, a mathematician, a well-grown orphan, (thinks for a moment) and the owner of the Four Tiger Sword." Takes a deep breath, still looking away "The King who has never been asked such a question and is trying his best" and now looking at her "not to panic."
Here LG said those things he is good at.. first. Then well-grown orphan because it was a pain that he can't forget though he became a King now. And then the owner of Four Tiger Sword as he is now King. He answered her looking away, thinking and finally looking at her in the end as he finished. He was genuine. If TE could tell who the criminal was on the show, by eight years then sure she knew that he is not lying her. But she just can't believe him completely.
