"I almost forgot, I was gonna give you this during the trip." "But, obviously that didn't go as planned." Peter chuckled, as he pulled out a black circular box; with white ribbon.
We sat under the tree at our local park; during the summer afternoon.
I smiled, as I received the beautifully packaged box.
I find myself astonished once it was fully unraveled. "Peter, it's gorgeous."
"Here." He shifts over behind me, gently placing the dainty jewelry piece on my neck and clasps it.
"You know me so well." I remark.
"Yah." He smiles, before connecting our lips again.
