Ok... Before you get excited... I'm going to destroy your hopes. THIS IS NOT A 'LOVE, SIMON' CENTRIC STORY! A friend of mine and I thought of this story when I was playing Lego Jurassic World and realized the actor for Simon was the same as the older brother and thought 'Hey, the same actor, possibly make it the same universe?' Sooo... Yes... The title could be a WIP, but this is what we're going with rn. It's mostly just been me working on it with my friend's input, but... We're no longer writing this. I mean, that's obvious, of course, but we have conflicting schedules and school is a bitch, so we're no longer working together or working on this... So, um.. Yeah...

Rain poured heavily outside against the rooftop of the house, sounding scratch-like against the tile roof. Lightning streaked across the sky, illuminating a bedroom for a few seconds on the face of a sleeping child. Thunder roared like a monster, a few heartbeats later after the lightning, like the monster was proclaiming its presence and land to any who challenge it. The child jolted awake and screamed; their dream and thunder shook them to their core. They stopped, finally catching their breath, with tears staining their face. Quick footsteps echoed from the hall, heading to the child's room. The door opened and the figure turned on the light.
"Gray? Hey, are you alright?" asked the older figure, voice full of concern.
"I- I just had a nightmare, Zach. I'll be fine." Gray answered. Zach sighed through his nose and walked over to Gray, sitting at Gray's feet on the bed.
"It's about that day, isn't it?" Zach asked. Gray stayed silent and looked away, confirming Zach's question. It's been a month since it all happened, and sleep for both of them has been almost non-existent. Zach reached out, grabbing Gray's arm gently, and pulled him next to Zach. Gray snuggled into Zach's chest as they both sat on the bed, staring at the rain, the sound of a dinosaur's roar rumbling in the distance.
