Hi thank you for clicking on this story! This is my first tiktok boy fanfiction so please bear with me!
I want to preface by saying this story is completely fiction. It is a bxb fic between Kio Cyr and Vinnie Hacker.
I haven't seen any other full fanfictions about them (correct me if I'm wrong) so I decided to make one!
This book is heavily inspired by Love, Simon. And the adapted book Simon vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda. So if you see a bit of similarities, that is why!
One more thing, it would mean the world to me if you all could give me some insight on how you like the book as it goes on. A vote would help too!
Okay, I'll stop rambling.
Enjoy!
"Fuck!" I say as the electrical wiring nearly shocks me for a third time. Shop class wasn't exactly my strong suite.
Normally I would pretend to do it in class, and take it home to my dad to work on it. It was an easy A when your dad is an electrical engineer. As it fully shocks me again, I groan and shove it off the table, cringing as the light fixture collided with the tile floor.
First thing, I look to Mr. Whitman, who was blankly staring at a Buzzfeed quiz, saying he'd meet his soulmate at twenty five.
Mind you, Whitman is in his fifties, unhappily married with kids he doesn't like. He's one of those teachers who rants his personal problems to a class of sleep deprived.
Nonetheless, he didn't hear me drop the light. However, I look around and see a number of students giving me confused or annoyed looks. I shoo them off with my hand and they go back to their own projects.
Luckily, the fixture was fine, as I set it back on my desk, glaring at it slightly. The students here at LakeRidge are a step above judgemental.
Being "different" was not an option. If you were anything other than a cocky jock, a pretty one, or an honors student you were nothing.
Otherwise a misfit, an outsider. Somebody who supposedly wouldn't make it far after high school. Ironic, I always thought.
"Vinnie Hacker!" I felt a gentle smack on my shoulder. Maeve Miller, one of the coolest people I've ever met.
We've been nothing less than best friends since seventh grade, when I moved to California. She knows everything about me... almost.
"Hey Mae," I smiled as she sat in the chair next to me.
"Trying to throw your project again?" She laughed tapping the light fixture.
"Maybe one of these days I'll break it and get kicked out of the class."
"Don't think that's how it works," She always had that sarcastic attitude. Sometimes you can't tell whether she is joking or not.
Mae is on the volleyball team, loved by everyone and their mother. She hadn't been that way until sophomore year when she made the championship goal.
No wonder she is loved, she's talented and gorgeous. Tall and blonde, who wouldn't?
Now with this subdued clasp of high school popularity, it's surprising she still hangs out with me.
As if to interrupt my thoughts, Mae's phone dings. I watch her expression change from confused to ecstatic. I look at her confused.
"Hanna just texted me! She said she met a new student and they want to get coffee with us. You have room in your car right?" She asked quickly. I nodded.
