Darkness is inevitable.
Darkness is unavoidable.
Darkness is everything and nothing,
All at once.
But is darkness is needed.
Without the dark,
We’d never recognize the light.
Those times where you laugh so hard your stomach hurts,
Or the crazy moments you share with your best friend.
Those would be nothing without darkness.
And whether you see it now or not,
You’re not going to look back on the bad times,
You’re going to look back at the good ones,
And you’re going to smile,
Because no matter how horrible the bad was,
It made the good so much better.
