The door cracked open and Jongho entered the sickbay with a bowl and a spoon."I will just leave this here, if you're hungry you're free to eat." He said placing your dinner onto the nightstand.
You had bulging eyes and you kept both of your arms under the blanket trying to maintain a straight face.
You were sure that your forehead was pearly with sweat because he looked at you shaking his head as if saying 'is everything alright?'.You slowly nodded and thanked him, mentally praying that he would leave the sickbay as soon as possible without noticing that something was definitely wrong with you.
It was his turn to sigh. He then went away, but this time, after he shut the door, you heard two turns of the key signaling that he'd just locked it up.
You could finally breathe now that he was gone. At the moment you didn't even care that you were locked up in there; as long as you were alone, everything was fine.
You scooped your dinner and ate staring into nothing.
Overwhelming. That was the perfect word to describe the moment.
After some time the lamp dried out and the candle extinguished leaving you in the dark. Finally some rest. If you couldn't see it, it didn't exist.
Knowing that you were alone in the sickbay made you calmer, it made you feel safer in some sort of way.The next morning you woke up to Yeosang falling off from his hammock.
Jongho laughed at him while he got up groaning in pain and rubbing his shoulder. "Yah stop it! It's not funny!"
"I-i-it is..." he cupped his mouth muffling his laugher.
A couple of curses flew around the room but shortly enough it all died down thanks to the deadly glare Yeosang shot Jongho.
Yeosang then approached your bed still hissing in pain, you desperately tried to fake sleep in hope you could stay at 'peace' a little bit more.
You kept your eyes closed and attempted to stay as still as possible."You really suck at fake sleeping, huh?" He chucked shacking your good shoulder. You still didn't answer trying to ignore him the best you could.
"Come on, I need to check you up" he raised his voice a little bit, suddenly sounding more stern.
You opened one eye and slightly huffed.
He helped you up very carefully and unwrapped the gauze on your shoulder to replace it and check on the stitches. It still hurt, but not as much.
One way or another, he couldn't help but notice the gauze messily wrapped around your forearm "Who did this?" He asked looking up at you with questioning eyes.
"Was it you?"
Now there was no going back.
You slumped you shoulders and nodded with your head low, anticipating with fear the next seconds.
He delicately removed it but was soon faced with your milky white forearm. No black marks, no scratches, no nothing.
It looked like nothing had never happened.
He was confused but you were even more confused than he was.
You grabbed your arm and twisted it in every direction possible while blabbering incoherent sounds.
Jongho was sitting on the edge of his bed watching over the scene shaking his head.
"Yeosang?" He called with a soft voice "Is it possible that he's hallucinating?"
