Jackie was fed up. Incredibly fed up. Herself, Brita, Crystal and Jan had moved into Heidi and Aiden's flat for a while-why not? If sharing a flat with some of the loudest people in existence whilst still going to college wasn't frustrating enough, there was also the case of Brita and Aiden. She could slap them sometimes with the way they acted towards each other. The noises that came from Aiden's room weren't even the worst of it- their consistent arguing during the day was beyond annoying. They would never shut up and not even Heidi could stop them at this point.

"Can you two shut the hell up for once?" Jackie yelled from the room she shared with Jan. It was half 7 and yet again the pair of them were arguing. Jan looked up from her phone at Jackie, grinning.

"They won't Jacks, you know it." Jan snorted before rolling back on her side. Sighing, Jackie lifted herself out of bed and threw the door open to see Aiden and Brita mid argument in the hallway.

"Please shut it! It's a Saturday, I can't hear myself think and other people are sleeping!" Jackie huffed and slammed the door shut, just as Heidi came out of her room.

"What's going on?" She rubbed her eyes, looking at Brita and Aiden. "Now what have you done?"

"She's being an annoying bitch!" Brita crossed her arms, pushing past Heidi. "I'm going back to bed before I slap the living shit out of her." She shut the door loudly, leaving Aiden staring after her.

"Aiden? Explain before I get complaints from the neighbours maybe?" Heidi asked gently, nudging Aiden. Aiden shook her head quickly and walked through to their kitchen, leaning against the countertop and biting on a fingernail.

"Just something stupid." She shrugged and sighed quietly, looking at Heidi. "I'm sorry it was loud, I'm just.." Aiden trailed off.

"Confused?"

"Yep. But it'll be fine." Aiden hummed before turning to the cupboards. She'd talked to Heidi a few days prior about her feelings for Brita, with Jackie and Brita also doing the same.

"Aiden, just sort it out by fucking her. That always seems to work doesn't it?" Heidi laughed loudly. "Oh wait no cause you're a bo-" She was cut off by Aiden throwing some bread at her. "It's true!"

"Don't Heids!" Aiden groaned. "You're such a bitch sometimes."

"That's not what Nicky said a few weeks ago." Heidi grinned.

A week passed since Brita and Aiden's last "argument" but surprisingly neither of them had spoken much since. It was now a Thursday and whilst Jackie and Brita were out, Jackie decided to press Brita on what was going on with her and Aiden.

"So how's Aiden?" Jackie asked Brita tentatively as she walked down the road with her. "Have you two spoken much or?" She felt Brita hesitate beside her. "You don't have to answer but-"

"Nope. She's a whiney little brat." Brita replied shortly. Jackie groaned internally and bit back a harsh remark.

"So you're not even going to try to have a conversation with her? Even though we're all in the same apartment?" Jackie sighed.

"Depends on if she'll grow up or not." The other woman shrugged. "Can we talk about something else?"

"Yeah yeah sure!" Jackie replied quickly, pulling her phone out of her coat pocket.
