New Girl- Season 12 Girls x OC Pt 2

..."Jan, what's happened?" I repeat, stepping forward.

"I-I had a nightmare." She whimpers, sitting down on the bed and pulling a blanket around her. "I don't know, I've not had them since-"

"Since we broke up?" I finish, sitting down next to her. She nods slightly, picking at her nails.

"I can't describe it. It was too bad, too scary." Jan put her head on her knees and I can hear quiet crying coming from her.

"It's okay." I edge closer to her and put my arm around Jan's shoulders. "Have a cry, breathe. You're safe."

"I don't want it to start happening again Ocean, not now, not here. I can't stand it." She sobs, inhaling shaky breaths.

"It won't. It's just the first day, it's stress." I said soothingly, rubbing her back. "You'll be fine, I promise you."

"Mhm.." She lifts her head and looks at me. "I heard Heidi earlier, in your room."

"Oh." I start, looking down.

"No it's fine." Jan says quietly, giving me a watery smile. "I told Jaida earlier, when we were in the WerkRoom. She pretty much said the exact same thing too."

I nod, looking over at the alarm clock. "It's pretty late, I should probably go back." I go to stand up and feel her hand on my arm.

"Stay for the night, please."

"J-Jan... Someone could come in and see us. What about if one of the girls came in?"

"It'll be fine, honestly! Please?" She pleads.

I sigh quietly, secretly happy about this. "Fine I'll stay, just for tonight."

Her face broke into a smile and she pulled me down to lie next to her. "Great!"

"Alright crackball, let's sleep okay, or you won't perform well tomorrow."

"Fineeee." She hesitates slightly. "Can we, yanno, talk tomorrow? In untucked or something? A lot has changed with EJ and I think I need to explain stuff."

I nod. "Yeah sure."

"Alright, night Stormie." She grins at me, before rolling over on her side.

"Night Janny." I lay on my back, reflecting on what's happened the past few hours. Did Jan have feelings for me still? She seemed pretty happy about me staying. Slowly I drift off to sleep, Jan still on my mind.

"Jan?! Where's Ocean?!" I wake up to the sound of voices at the door. It was Widow, Heidi and Crystal by the sound of it. I shake Jan roughly.

"Hey, they're at the door." I hiss quietly. She sits up and frantically runs towards the door, opening it a crack.

"Hi, uh she's uh-" She's silenced by Crystal peeking around the door and staring at me.

"Oh my god she's in here!" Crystal squeals, looking between Jan and me. "Did you two do something?"

"Crystal no!" Jan stutters, quickly throwing on a top and opening the door fully. "What made you think we have?"

"She's in your bed bitch." Widow says, sliding into the room.

"Oh my gawd Oceannnn!!" Heidi runs in towards me and hugs me tightly. "You okay?"

"I'm fine!" I giggle and hug her back. "It's quiet early isn't it?"

"Yeah, but we wanted to go to breakfast now, I'm so hungry." She says, dragging me up. "Eh, you'll do in this. Coming Jan?"
