Being forced to work in an English group with Aiden Zhane was not Brita's idea of fun. In fact, it was probably one of her worst nightmares, something she'd expressed frequently to her friendship group most lunches. She found the girl incredibly odd. Aiden was renowned for being virtually silent during their college lessons together, only hanging around with Rock and Heidi and just being a little creepy. Her short, raven black hair and piercing brown eyes didn't help anything either. Neither did the fact that Brita had been harbouring a 'crush' for the girl since the day she set eyes on her. No one else knew about it, aside from Jackie. Jackie knew way before Brita even told her about it.
"I can't believe she's in our group." Brita groaned as she threw her books down on top of the group's table and sat down.
"Come on Brita, it's only a small project." Jackie commented, sliding in next to her. "It's not like you'll be permanently attached to her!" Their group consisted of Brita, Jackie, Jan and Jaida, with Jaida's girlfriend Nicky joining them on the rare occasion. Jackie herself was in the group, along with Heidi, Aiden and Crystal Methyd. Crystal barely went into college, but on the days she did it was a lot of fun. No one knew a lot about her, apart from the fact she had a cat called TicTac and she wore mismatched clothes 90% of the time.
"What's the fuss anyway? Just ignore the bitch." Jaida said, flicking through her books. "She barely speaks."
"Easy for you to say." Brita muttered.
"Come on guys, she's actually nice sometimes!" Jan protested.
"How the fuck do you know?" Brita turned to the blonde haired woman, who couldn't keep still.
"Instagram! We talk on there a lot."
"Do you talk about serial killers?" Jaida snorted, receiving a small slap on the arm from Jackie.
"No..? It's just about stuff." Jan retorted. "Honestly Brita, you're too harsh on her. What's up with that?" As the conversation drifted off to other topics, Brita's eyes met Jackie's. Jackie knew exactly what was 'up with that'.

"Are we actually going to get something done or are you two going to keep bickering?!" Jackie shouted as she looked between Aiden and Brita. Their work group had been researching some book they'd chosen collectively, however even there had been arguing over it. Of course it had been between Brita and Aiden, with Heidi and Crystal keeping out of it.
"I'm sorry but she's talking bullshit Jacks!" Brita retorted. "This is ridiculous."
"All I said was that I didn't really like the book, what's wrong with that?!" Aiden rolled her eyes as she stood up. "I need to go, Jesus Christ." Picking up her bag, she slung it over her shoulder and left the room, shutting the door loudly behind her.
"Well done." Heidi commented sarcastically. "It's only 10am and you've already upset someone."
"And it's the person she likes." Jackie said, before realising what she'd said. "I didn't mean that-"
"I hate you." Brita put her head in her hands. "Hate hate hate you."
"Wait you... Aiden?" Heidi stared at Brita.
"N-"
"She does." Crystal said. It was the first time she'd spoken. "The constant looks you give her doesn't help, and she likes you too. She was talking to Heidi about it earlier." The accuracy of what Crystal had just said was incredibly odd. Aiden and Heidi had definitely been talking about Brita just a few hours ago, when they were getting ready in the flat they shared.
"Why don't you ask her out?" Heidi has asked as she looked for her bag.
"For the last time I'm not! She hates me Heids, you know that." Aiden had retorted.
"Oh well, no harm in trying."
"Are you psychic?" Heidi now asked Crystal, incredibly confused.
"Nope. Anyway you should go and speak to her." Crystal nodded at Brita with a smile. "Come on!"
"I- Fine fine." Brita rolled her eyes and stood up. "See y'all in a bit." She too left them room and walked into the room next door. Sure enough, Aiden was in there. The woman was sitting against a wall and got up immediately as soon as she saw Brita.
"What are you doing?"
"They told me t-to come look for you." Brita stuttered.
"Why?" Aiden was staying a distance away from her, expression unreadable.
"Because I care?"
"Liar. You're just scared of me! That's all you are Brita." Aiden snapped as she turned to leave the room.
Brita shoved Aiden into the cupboard door, eliciting a quiet whimper from the short haired woman.
"I swear if you ever, ever say that again Zhane..." Brita hissed, face centimetres away from Aiden's.
"I'm just stating the facts bitch, so move." Aiden went to push her out of the way, however Brita was too quick. She grabbed her wrists and pinned them above her head. As she did this, Brita noticed Aiden squirm beneath her.
"Oh, did you enjoy that?" Brita kept Aiden boxed in, looking down at her.
"N-No! Look Brita we're both adults come on, let me go." She stammered. Her pale skin was now flushed and she had wide eyes. "They'll be wondering where we've g-gone."
"Hmm.." Brita kept her in place before letting go. "Fine." When she went to open the door, she turned back to Aiden. "I mean it." She went out the room, Aiden following behind her and back into where the others were. They were silent and Crystal was clearly trying not to laugh.
"What?" Aiden asked cooly as she sat down next to Heidi.
"Nothing... I'm uh gonna go call Gigi." Crystal quickly got up and ran out, her laughter ringing down the corridors.
"Well anyway let's get on." Jackie cleared her throat.

At this point it was a few days later and it was late evening. Both Brita and Aiden were trying to complete more of the work they'd been set in Aiden and Heidi's flat. Heidi had gone out with Dahlia and Widow, her only words being 'have fun and clean up after'.
"Can you concentrate please?" Aiden sighed whilst shutting off her laptop. "We're supposed to be doing this together and yet you're just messing around."
"I'm sorry miss prim and proper." Brita said with a slight smirk.
"See this is what I mean!"
"What? What do you mean?" Brita asked. "I don't understand."
Aiden took hold of her shoulders and slammed Brita into the wall, eyes set ablaze with what looked like a mixture of something. Brita hadn't seen in her before.
"I'm sick of this." She whispered. "Why are you constantly being a bitch?"
"To get a reaction out of you." Brita shrugged.
"Wh-What reaction? You don't know anything about me!"
"This." Brita grabbed hold of Aiden's shoulders and flipped the pair around, with the other woman letting out a moan at the action. "I know everything Aiden. You are an open book written for very dumb children."
"Shut up-" She was silenced as Brita leaned in and kissed her. It was rough and desperate. There was a sense of need.
Brita pulled away first.
"Do you want to?" She asked tentatively, her voice softer than normal.
"I do. I need to."
