kokichi took us on endless amounts of dates. we were intimate, sometimes a bit touchy, in private of course. when we shared beds, his night terrors seemed to decrease.
to me, he seemed happier...

he wasn't. he wasn't happy. he loved me, he really did, but... everyone recognized him as the antagonist. the liar. don't trust him.

he hated it.
i mean, who could blame him?

i didn't expect to come home to what i did today. i could've done something about it.
but he was there, hanging inches off the floor. immediate death, as far as shuichi could tell.

' why, dammit?! ' i screamed, holding his checkered scarf close. ' i miss you... fuck... kokichi... ' ten years, i lived without him. everything in the apartment stayed the same.

' kaito~! look~! i bought us promise rings~! ' kokichi ran up to me in excitement, holding the matching 'player one' and 'player two' rings.
' promise rings? why not just say the promise and be done? ' i asked, slipping on the player one ring.
' what's the fun in that~?! ' he huffed, kissing my cheek. ' soon, we'll get married~! we'll be wearing wedding rings in a few years~! '
' okay~... that's a promise then~... ' i leaned down, caressing his cheek gently before pecking him on the lips.
' kaito always looks so sexy when kissing me~! ' he giggled, running away.

' you promised, you fucking liar! ' i yelled at the air, sobbing. what's the point in crying..?

kokichi laid in the press, looking over at me, smiling. ' momota chan, you said men don't cry~... liiiiaaaarrrrr~... '
' shut up... '

it's like... my life was flashing before my eyes. before i knew it, i laid limp on the ground next to kokichis shrine.
