The two sit in a diner as the sun rises through the cafe's window, onto Dennis's back. "So what is this your heist plan you've come up with in the last twelve hours?" Jacob asks jokingly.
"...yep" Dennis reptiles. The two look at each other, Jacob lost.
"We don't even know where the hell they took our shit Dennis, I mean where do you get off?"
"Well, we can take a guess..." Dennis lays out a map of California, "the closest known CIA bunker within a one hundred mile radius, which they knew the machine couldn't be moved further in one sitting and common they would never park a time machine in the middle of the desert... anyway the closest facility is here," Dennis points on the map, "seventy miles north of us, but they would be stupid to stop so close because they know we want our shit back obviously so they must have taken our beloved invention all the way up-state... here".
Jacob doesn't say anything for a moment before sarcastically mumbling "so you 'think' it is in this base, which is the only mapped base, that they would even want us to know about?"
"Well... some small city up north, Trogan, released an article this morning where a woman saw seven tinted trucks and a much larger one in the center passing in front of her driveway up to Newmansville, and she doesn't get many visitors."
"Right... so you found it, how the hell do you plan to get in, emphasis on the you, because I am not putting my life on the line for n-"
"Jacob, it's a god-damned rift in time and space, you can go anywhere you want, no consequences."
"Okay first of all, we don't even know what the hell happened to us yesterday... so don't think that we can just change the past,"
"Yesterday was an accident, we could have saved those people-"
"No Dennis we couldn't!"
"You don't know that..."
Jacob sighs knowing Dennis's stubborn ego won't let him prove him wrong this time around. "So how do you plan on getting in, and don't tell me we are going to steal back these truck loads of equipment in once swoop?" Jacob asks, before Dennis smiles and flops a clipping of a picture of a woman on paper.
"Maleah Domelli, Ex Cia, she's got her reasons to get back with the government so I figure we can... exploit those reasons."
