Chapter 7 (Malum chapter!)

*Michael's p.o.v*

I woke up to someone poking me. I was still in the chair next to Ashton's bed. I guess I fell asleep after I walked out of the bathroom.

It was really dark in the room so I got my phone out and turned it on to find who poked me. It was Calum he was standing next to me.

"Cal? What's wrong?" I said sitting up right after I saw he was crying.

"M-Mikey" I heard him sniffle.

"Cal what's wrong?" I asked again.

He looked down and whipped his eyes.

"I-I had another dream" he whispered sadly.

My heart broke at hearing him.

"Oh Calum" I whispered"come here"

He got up and climbed into my lap as I wrapped my arms around him. He nuzzles his head into my neck as I rubbed his back.

You see Calum has been having nightmares about his past. His father wasn't the best of all of them. His father would come into his room in the middle of the night and hurt him. Bad. Every night sense that time Calum has been having the same dream over and over again. He's never told anyone except me because I found him crying in his room one night when I stayed over.

"He never goes away Mikey" he sniffled."why won't he leave me alone?"

"I don't know Cal. I'm so sorry" I said kissing his forehead as I rubbed his arm to comfort him. He reached his hand up and wipes his tears with his jacket sleeve.

"I-I'm sorry for waking you up. I didn't know what else to do." He mumbled.

"It's okay Cal you can always wake me up. I won't be mad at you okay?"

He nods his head and laid it on my shoulder. I started singing Hero by Enrique Iglesias as I rubbed his back soon I heard his soft snores and finished the song I smiled and moved the hair from his forehead with my free hand and kissed his forehead then I leans back and fell asleep with him in my arms.

~morning~
I woke up by the sound on a camera flash going off.

"Damn it Luke you had the flash on." I heard Ashton whisper.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to!" Luke whispered back.

"You know you two are horrible whisperers." I said opening my eyes.

They both jumped and glared at me.

"Hey you were suppose to be asleep." Ashton pouted.

I giggles"I was until a flash went off in my face"

"Yeah mine to"Calum said rubbing his eyes as his head was still on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry I swear I thought it was off!" Luke whines.

We all laughed at Luke's childishness. Luke sat back down next to Ashton on the bed and Calum stayed on my lap.

I rubbed his arm as I got my phone out. I went to the camera and started taking pictures Calum joined as we took a few together. I went back and looked at them as we both laughed at them.

It was one of the best days I've had in a long time. I was really happy with it too.
