"Ms Danvers, Ms Danvers".

"Uhh yh sorry what were you saying".

"I finally bring myself to talk about my problems and your not listening".

"I'm sorry its just... Come on start again, I'm listening I promise".

Patricia came to discuss with me on some issues after school. But I can't seem to focus lately. I still haven't spoken to Dylan yet and Sam seems to be on my mind constantly. Last night I was practically playing with fire with that stunt I pulled on her.

Oh my gosh, I still can't believe it. I was so close to kissing her and deep down I really wanted to. But for many reasons that's not going to happen. My parents would flip if that were to happen.

Think about it, their only daughter dating another girl. Theyll have a stroke if they found out. Secondly, I don't want to do that to Dylan, hes a good guy. I've been happy with him through the months we've been together.

It just doesn't seem right to do that to him. And lastly Sam is my childhood friend. My only friend actually. I mean there's Rose but it's not the same. But when I see her with another girl or think about it, I get this bad feeling in my gut. I just can't seem to figure out why.

"Your not one to brood", Rose states sitting beside me tea in hand.

Right now we're in the break room. I needed a bit of time to myself to think before returning to help kids with their drama.

"Am I brooding", I ask trying to laugh it off.

"Yes you are, what's up".

"Dylan and I had a fight or...more like.. he's upset with me".

"What did you do".

"Nothing.. Then again I guess thats the point". "we haven't been, yunno, intimate lately".

"Ohh I see, there's someone else", she points out before taking a sip of her tea.

"No, there's no one else" I yelled a bit too loudly.

An image of Sam pops to mind. Letting out a heavy sigh, I bury my face in my hands.

"I've just been too stressed out lately to do... let alone think about that".

This is obviously a lie, but I'm going to go with that excuse. Of course I've been thinking about that. I have constantly for a while now, ever since I kissed my best friend.

Sam pov

"Sam are you okay", one of the boys ask.

"Yeah why wouldn't I be".

"Well I just had to ask because your really going at that punching bag".

"Yeah does it have to do with Katelyn again", asks another.

That stopped my rampage as I turn my attention to the boy that said that.

"Just saying", he says with hands held in defense.

"Whatever", I say throwing my weight onto a work bench.

"It's just that recently I've realised how difficult its going to be to move on from her".

"Well you know what I always say", he begins.

"Quickest way to get over someone is under someone else".

Two boys high five each other in agreement. They aren't really wrong.

"Sounds like a great plan, we'll all meet at our usual spot tonight", everyone agreed without my consent.

I guess I'm going too or else I won't hear the end of it.

6 hrs later

"Looks like we all made it", one of them said.

"Let's start this night off with a drinking game shall we", another proposed.

They all started grinning like Cheshire cats.

"Sam", a voice yelled over the booming music.

I looked in that direction to where it came from and in front of me walks a hot red head with freckles across the bridge of her nose. Her thick red locks cascade along her face onto a laced top. She paired it with a black skirt and black laced heel.

Her big emerald eyes and red lipstick. Wow this girl knows how to have me speechless without saying a word. I think I'm going to leave the guys a little earlier than planned.

"Well well Sam who's your friend", Thomas asks smiling like a wierdo at her.

Where do I know her from, have I even met her before. No I couldn't have, I would remember meeting someone as hot as her. I mean the boys can't seem to stop staring at her, and I don't blame them.

"Umm this is", I start not being able to conjure up her name in my head.

"Its fine, I met Sam just yesterday in the cafe I work at", she says sitting beside me.

Then it hit me, her red hair, the freckles across her nose. I then picture her in a barista uniform.

"Red", I yelled astonished.

"Guilty", she says letting out a chuckle as she brushes a few locks of her hair back.

" I'm Cole ", he says over confidently.

"Beat it pal, your not her type", I point out.

"What, seriously".

"Yh it's true I only have eyes for one at this table", she says holding my arm.

Cole curses under his breathe.

"Let's go somewhere a little more quiet", red whispers in my ear.

I didn't need to be told twice by her.

"It's been fun guys but I'm gunna go".

No one said anything they all have this stern look on their faces, sipping on their beer. Aww their jealous that I got the hot girl.

They all knew what me leaving with a girl implied, hence the looks on their faces. I laughed before leaving with red on my arm.
