Before you start this chapter just wanted to let you know I fixed all the mistakes in the others. I so went to the one before this and changed a few things so you might wsnt to read it age. Sorry.

I added two boys talking to Norma. Adam and James.

(Anyway enjoy this chapter)

The restraint was reasonably empty  considering it was three-fifty in the afternoon.

Elvis held the door open for  Norma, the girl smiled and bent down just enough to walk under his outstreached arm. ""Thanks E." Elvis chuckled watching her with fondness in his eyes. An elderly couple had just finished paying for there order and started for the door. Elvis gave a smile and continued to hold the door open. "Sir. Ma'mam, have a nice day." The woman smiled. "Such a nice and handsome young man you are, thank you." Elvis have a nod of his head. "Thanks my boy." The man said following his wife out the door. Why Elvis was busy being a gentleman, Norma went to the bathroom to wash her hands.

Elvis looked around the space after letting the door close, not seeing his 'little sister' he decided to go ahead and grab them a table.

Mindy, a girl in the same grade as Elvis had started her shift not fifteen seconds before the pare walked into the building.

She noticed Elvis looking around for an empty booth and smiled.

"Hey Elvis, table for one?" She asked holding a menu in her arms. He smiled at the girl. "Um-No Mindy, Two actually." The girls once cheerful smile wavered. "Oh. You find yourself another girl? O-or did you get back with-."

"Neither. I won't be getting back with her." The tone Elvis used was an odd one. Full of anger and hate, something Elvis never used. But Mindy smiled once again, happy since she liked the teenager in front of her. "So then you with one of your folks?" He snickered. "No-I'm with Noma." Just as Elvis said that, the bathroom door opened and the young girl came walking to the two.  Norma had taken longer than needed because she was checking out her face. "Hello Mindy." The teenager tried to smile at the child, but she stayed silent as she watched Elvis causally put his arm around the girl.

It went silent between the three of them. Mindy was upsest that the kid was there, Norma could tell and was looking anywhere but the older girl. Elvis knew what was going on but decided to act like he didnt and get a move on.

"Alright. How about you find me and my little one a nice booth with a view?" Elvis joked looking to Norma first, he just missed Mindy roll her eyes. He was just trying to stop the odd feeling that had fallen over everyone. Mindy smiled. "R-right this way." Mindy muttered. Elvis sighed and gently guided the girl along with him as he followed the upset girl through the building.

It was odd for teenaged girls to be jealous of a ten year old girl, but most girls were since Elvis spent most of his time with the girl he nicknamed his Little One.

Everytime Mindy came to the booth to refill drinks or see how the pare were doing she was rude to Norma and flirted with Elvis. She was on her way back over to take the last of there plates. Elvis noticed this and sighed. "Hey Norma, how about finding us a new song?" He asked digging a quarter out of his pants pocket. "Okay E!" He smiled watching her happily skip off.

"Hey Elvis, is everything going alright over here?" Mindy asked with a smile. "Actually no- I'd like a word with you Mindy." The girl shifted on her feet. "Alright." She knew what was coming.

On her way back to the booth another older waitress noticed Norma. "Excuse me dear." Norma come to a stop. "Yes ma'ma?" Nora asked softly. "Are alright? You got yourself a nasty bruise." The woman spoke kindly, bending down to get a better look. "Lets get you some ice for the swelling alright?" Norma shook her head. "I'm right. But thank you." The older woman sighed. "It will help with it. I promise." Norma gulped. "Well alright. Couldn't hurt." The woman smiled. "Are you eating?" Norma smkled. "Just finished. I want to get some ice cream though." The woman chuckled. "What flavor and what table?" Norma smiled.

"Now I don't understand what makes you be the way you are to Norma. She's just a little girl." Mindy crossed her arms standing next to Elvis by the bathrooms. "Right. A little girl you spend way to much time with." She snapped.

"Who I spend my time with is my business!" She rolled her eyes.

"Its odd that youd ratger spend time with a kid than an actaul woman Elvis. A woman who could do thibgs with you. Unless you'd rather do those things with a child " Elvis scoffed. "Exactly what are you getting at Mindy?"

Norma made it back to her table and frowned. No Elvis. She sat down thinking maybe he went to the bathroom. "Ice and ice cream ready for ya Norma." The girl smiled in thanks taking the cone first. "Thank you."

"Now hold that on your face and it will help before you know it." Before the woman could ask what happed to the child a costumer called her away. "Ill come check on you soon dear. Enjoy that now."

Elvis came stomping back after is talk with Mindy. "Whered you go E?" She asked worried. Elvis didnt answer her, he slammed the money for the food down on the booth and grapped his jscket. "Come on Norma, lets go." She gulped, standing. "Alright." She grabbed jer own jacket and followed him out the door.

"What happened?" She asked tossing the half eaten ice cream in the trash as she followed him. But she kept the ice on her face.

"Peopel." He muttered.

They had walked in silenced for awhile. Elvis was just lost in his anver filled thoughts and poor Norma was just lost by it all.

Then a thought came to her and she smiled. "Hey E?" The man hummed. "Guess what?" She asked walking a little faster to get in front of the man. "Mm what?" He asked looking down at her. He smirked seeing the playful look in her eyes.

"I bet you your slice of your mamas browns that I can run faster thsn you." She said smuggle, crossing her arms. Elvis shook his head and chuckled. "Really now darling?" He asked with a smile on his lips. "We both know that I'm faster. Pure and simple cause I'm bigger than you." She grinned. "Yea well I'm -" she paused in thought. "Your adorble thats what you are." She snickered. "You k kw what you E?" She asked patting her eyes at the man. "No- What?"

She snickered. "IT!" She screamed pushing on him before she ran down the sidewalk. "Hey, you didnt say go!" He screamed running after the laughing girl.

"Oops! One to ten go!" She screamed. Elvis laughed catching up to her quickly. "That all you got little mama?" He asked with a smirk. "Nope! First one to the stop sign on the corner wins!" She snapped going a little faster. "Thats will be me!" He snapped with a laugh.

Upsdted. Sorry it took so long.
