It's now or never, so hold me tight, kiss me my darling, be mine tonight. - Elvis.
Marilyn sat in her pink convertible. She started the car and did her best not to cry. She did need Elvis. She needed him to love her, she needed him.
Marilyn pulled out of the parking lot and onto the street, she gulped and glanced back at the hotel as she drove away.Yes she needed him- But her family needed her more. She turned the radio on to try and destruct herself, her mind. She lite a cigarette with her shaking hands and inhaled deeply.
"Next up we got an oldie but a good. As requested- Elvis Presley's first singer, from his very first record.
She came to a red light and groaned. Really? Now of all time he has to come on the radio- And it has to be that song!?!?! - Her song.
That was it- She couldn't hold it back any longer.
"Oh G-God-Why Elvis? Why put me growing up with Elvis Presley? Why have us go through all this-This messed up world!- She asked, glancing at the Night sky. Putting the car in drive, she waiting wife the red light to change, her mind was racing, her heart was broken and she felt the hot sting of her tears running down her face. Why?
At the moment Elvis was making a real mess of his expensive hotel room. He took the bottle of wine room serve brought up and smashed in against the wall- Why? Norma walked out on him- Turned him down. It was over- If he didn't have his little Norma Jeane , then he didn't want anything or anyone!
The singer was crumbled on the floor, holding his head with his eyes closed.
He cleared his throat when he heard the rooms door slowly open. "I'll pay for the damages damn it- I already told the last guy you sent up- Just leave me alone!" Heavy breathing was all that could be heard after the singer stopped his rant. The man flinched his fist when he realized the hotel employee wasn't leaving his room.
"I said get out!" The deep, demanding tone the singer used was until any way the young starlet had ever heard the normally kind mans voice.
She couldn't just leave him like that-Leave her childhood best friend, the only person left on earth to truly understand her and what she went through and how she feels- What she needs."What are you waiting for?" He asked, still looking at the floor. "Get out of here Damn you!" Marilyn felt her spin come alive from the tone he used. The man was just about to give this guy a clue with his fist, since he didn't seem to hear his words, but Heals clicked against the floor had the man pause and scoff. This time they made a female come up to talk to him?- She most likely begged at the change to talk to ELVIS PRESLEY! "Look Lady, just-Just get out!" The singer snapped. Marilyn sighed, looking him and the hotel room over.
"Elvis."
The singer had never moved so fast in all his life. But what felt like a second he was on his feet. "Norma?" He asked with tears in his eyes.
