This chapter will kick off Norma moving in with Elvis.

Elvis didn't know what to do after he opened the letter from Marie.

But he didn't have much time to think anything over-When Vernon took Norma home, everything came crumbling down around the little girl.

Marie was dead.

Elvis rushed to his 'little sister' after he got a call from his father.

Norma was a crying mess in the small kitchen, Vernon wasn't sure what to say or do to help the greeving little girl-After all he was never close with her and he wasn't the best with words or emotions.

A nice pink car stopped outside the home. Elvis ran inside and paused. The elderly woman was still in the living room. It looked like she was just sitting in her chair, but Norma and Vernon had discovered different.

Elvis gulped and slowly walked to her. He sighed looking down. "I-I hope it didnt hurt ya Marie, I know you'd rather her not be around when- I-I got the letter and I want you to know I'll take care of everything. She won't beable to get over this-The loss of you-But in time she'll learn to smile again.

A broken sobe came from the kitchen and Elvis slowly made his way there.

He found the girl hiding her face in her hands, crying uncontrolably. Vernon looked lost sitting next to her at the table.

"Honey, dont cry now." The man muttered. "I-She wouldnt want you feeling so low-She knew it was coming-I-Where is that boy of mine?" He asked rubbing the shaking girls back.

"I'm right here Daddy." Elvis spoke up softly. Norma sniffed and uncovered her face. Her eyes were puffy, her nose running and her face wet from all her crying.

"E-Elvis!" She yelled in pain, the man bent down opened his arms.Norma ran into the mans open arms, her little body crash into him. "I'm here, I got you." He muttered, glancing at his father.

"I'll start making calls." Vernon mittered, grabbing Marie's address book from the table.

"I-Elvis, what do I do now? What if-." The singer shook his head. "You'll be alright. Your granny thought of everything."

Norma blinked looking at the man. "How do you-."

"The letter. Norma, she knew she was sick. She was been for awhile. She worked everything out so you'd be taken care off. She left this house to you and everything in it. She-."

"But-But I'm only twelve!" Elvis smirked. "Easy now. She left it for you once youve grown honey, until that day she asked that you stay with my parents." Norma sniffed.

"But your parents don't need me hanging around them. I-."

"You know my mama loves you like you were her own. They have a place close to me. They have a Ranch with all kinds of animals. You'd love my home. Graceland is a nice place and I know what school you could go too. Its an all girls-You'd get a great education there and we would be able to see each other like the old days. Everything will work out-Just you wait."

Elvis didn't go to Funeral, afraid that if anyone knew it would turn into a circus. Elvis wanted Norma to have a real chance to say goodbye to her grandmother, who was basically her mother.

Gladys stood with the girl, holding her hand. "I-I don't want to say goodbye." She muttered, looking at the light blue casket.

"I know sweet heart, but if you dont do it why you have the chance, you'll forever regret it." Glardys said softly.

"But what if-."  The woman bent down to her level. "She still looks like your granny honey, shes just gone to heaven." Norma tooka breath looking down. "I wish Elvis was here." Vernon sighed.

"He didn't want to distract people from whats really important." The man muttered, Vernon couldn't understand why he had to be there but his boy got out of it. He had been in the small church for hoirs now.

Elvis sighed sitting in the hotel room. He hated being away from her when she really needed him.

He was reading over the letter from Marie for the hundreth time in the past few days.

Dear Elvis, my time on this earth is coming to an end. I havent told Norma anything about my illness. I wanted to spend what time I had left making happy memories for her to look back on. That little thing means the world to me. Ever since I held her in my arms the day she was born I knew she was destined for greatness.

I just regret that I will not be here to see it happen. I know that you and your parents are good people. You always treated my grand daughter like part of the Presley family and for that I am greatful.

I wrote up my last will and testemnt. I have enclosed it along with this letter and wish that you, Elvis Aaron Presley would read over it as well.

I am intrusting you with the home and all inside it along with the car until Norma is age eight-teen and ready to take it over.(She may have the car at age sixteen)

I know that you will take care of her until she is ready to take care of herself.

Please make sure she finishes her schooling and lives a happy life.

I know you are a very busy man now a days, if your parents could find it in there hearts to take Norma in at Circle G so she could keep some kind og normal.

Over all Elvis I wanted to say thank you. With out you Norma would have grown up a lonley little girl. You were her closest and most loved friend.

Tell her I'm sorry I had to leave her and that I love her more than anything. Her grandparents will be keeping watch over her with her mother and God...

Goodbye and thank you.

Elvis sighed picking the other paper up. He couldnt belive she was gone.

Without thinking Elvis got in his car and drove to the small church.

He slowly made his way insode the building. Most people alrealy left the funeral.

He gulped seeing the girl sitting next to her grandmothers open Casket.

Gladys stood next to her as she talk to her grandmother.

Vernon looked up from the bible he was reading and sighed. A handful of people gasped seeing the famous singer walking down the isle. He tried his best to smile at them as he went past them. He shook hands with the pastor and came to a stop beside his mother.

"I love you. I'm sorry I wasnt aith you Granny." She cried looking at the photo sitting next to her. It was from back when her grandfather was alive.

It was her, and her grandparents smiling happily.

"She didn't want you to see it happing." Elvis whispered taking her hand.

"Elvis?" She whispered. "Yea I'm here." He whispered saueezing her hand. He looked down at Marie amd smiled.

"I will always be there for Norma. I will take care of everything Marie Lynn Monroe."

Elvis looked to the little girl and sighed.

"I love you both."

Norma cried harder and hugged the man next to her. "I love you too." She muttered into his shirt.

Gladys came over and hugged them both.

Everyone knew it would be hard for the girl, but in time she would be alright again.
