(please do not read if you get triggered by this, as it is the theme of this one shot)PROMPT: "When a person gets sad, and they can't handle it, they find a way of escape. It may not be the best way, but most of the time, all they really care about is the people around them."

"Daddy! Can you help me tie my bracelet please?"
"Come here, kiddo." The young boy climbed onto his fathers lap, placing his wrist on the man's hand allowing him to tie the bracelet.
It was special piece of jewellery, the last thing his mother left him before the plane crash. The only thing he had to remember his precious mom by. "Look here at what daddy's doing."
His eyes widened, attempting to remember each step, so he could learn how to tie a knot. Each loop was so intricate to the young boy, even if it was an everyday thing for Tony.
"Thank you, daddy! May I go out and play with Cappy now?" The older man smiled at the boy's words, how he remembered to use the right grammar after he had given him a ten minute speech on always sounding professional.
"Put your hoodie and coat on, then we'll see if it's not too cold for you to go out."
The young child eagerly nodded his head, climbing off the sofa and running to his room. Seconds later, he ran out with a few more layers of clothing almost resembling a cuddly teddy bear.
"Aren't you the cutest little thing!" He bent down to the boys level and ruffled his hair, causing giggles to escape from Peter's mouth. "Daddy! Stop it!"
He chuckled at the boy and let him go outside, watching from behind as the child jumped up onto Steve's back.
"Cappy, Cappy! Wanna go high!"
Seeing his kid so happy made him ecstatic, she didn't always have the best of luck in life. So having someone so youthful and positive around him just made the overall atmosphere feel so much better, even after Pepper's tragic death.
Tony always had Steve with him, to comfort him at his worst. The ex-soldier never judged the man when he was down in the lab, wasted and crying. It was nice having someone like that in your life, he knew could rely on Steve.
Having another father figure had really helped Peter too, especially after loosing his aunt and uncle who were extremely close relatives. Then his mum passed away, leaving the young boy with a drunk dad and a completely empty tower.
Tony had accidentally fired every worker at SI when he was drunk, and all though he managed to get them all back it was a stupid mistake.
He walked out onto the patio and waved at Steve, who was throwing Peter up in the air. The man smiled at him and waved back for him to come out.
Tony grabs his large coat and slips his shoes on before running out to where Steve was. Peter had ran to the climbing frame which was covered in snow and ice, but that didn't stop the boy from using it.
