PROMPT: After homecoming, peter and tony's relationship went downhill. The two barely talked to each other for the next two months, until Tony gets a notification from Friday telling him that Peter's dead. (Major character death but that character will be returning again)

"Mr Stark, I have an update from Karen. Would you like to see it?"

Tony jumped onto the couch and lied on his side, pulling up Peter's vitals from the last two months on his AI table. "Sure, haven't seen the kid in a while. I wonder what he's up to, probably still spider-manning around, trying to save the little guy like alway," he chuckles, knowing what the boy was really like.

Always doubting himself, second-guessing every decision he makes, yet the kid never seemed to give up his spidering.

"It seems Peter has not gone on patrol since the 22nd of September, a couple of days after his homecoming." This confused tony, it had been almost two months since Spider-man has been seen?

"And this is an update from Karen, right? The kid probably just hacked into the suit and tried to prank me." He was scrolling through the last two months of peter's activity until he read the details of his current state, a part that caught his eye.

'No heartbeat detected since 37 hours, severe injuries, unstable suit.'

His heart almost stopped.

"FRIDAY, contact the kid," he heard ringing throughout the house until Friday came back and said "No answer, Mr Stark."

I guess I'll have to go there myself.

Tony was in his Iron-man suit, flying to Peter's apartment. After seeing the new updates, he was beyond pissed.

The man hadn't been ignoring Peter on purpose, being the joint CEO of one of the largest tech companies in the world gives you little time to interact with neighbourhood vigilantes however this wasn't a reason for the kid to lie about being dead; Tony understood the boy would've felt a little upset, but he also understood that people his age needed space and time to themselves instead of being smothered all the time. Kid also proved that he could look after himself after the events with the Vulture.

"Scan the area, FRI," he waited in mid-air for a couple of seconds until FRIDAY answered "motionless body detected, sir. Would you like me to guide you to it?" Tony closed his eyes for a second, already expecting the worst, "Who is it?"

"The body belongs to Peter Parker, sir."

It can't be.

Tony flew towards the location of the body with no hesitation, scanning the area of the alleyway until he reached the end and spotted a a mangled body laying in a pool of blood, it definitely wasn't a sight to see right after eating.

Peter's lifeless body laid in the dark corner, his Spiderman suit was on but it was all torn up and destroyed. His body was disgustingly twisted, so much that he could feel bile rising up his throat but swallowed it back down.

Tony's voice slightly quivered, he passes it off as a product of the cold as he asked FRIDAY to scan the body, his last pocket of hope being taken away when she responds with 'No life signals.' Tony walks towards the body and picks it up bridal style, flying back up to their apartment.

The man goes into his room and places the boy down onto the hard mattress before looking around his room. A small smile on his face emerges seeing the framed photograph of him and Peter, the day he accepted the stark internship award after Tony requested he joined the avengers, to which he denied.
