There once was a kingdom with two rulers who had a son—their soon-to-be, and only, heir of the palace.

The kingdom was settled in a luscious valley between various mountains, with the tallest of those holding the cavern palace of the almighty royal family.

Once the prince was of age, he became the sole ruler of this kingdom.

His name is Katsuki Bakugo, and this man...he needs a queen.

This tale is reciting the meeting and relationship building of Katsuki and one of his mere servants.

Katsuki, who currently stands at his bedroom window with his arms crossed, glares out at the bustling kingdom beyond. His kingdom, to be specific.

With an irritable, yet heavy, sigh, he swivels around and begins marching towards the door of his room, gruffly ordering his personal guard, "I'm going to walk the halls. Stay here until I need you."

Kirishima nods, standing tall as the king exits the room. He then releases a huff as the door falls shut, a small puff of smoke blowing out of his nose from the action, before he counts to twenty in his mind.

Once he's sure that the blonde has left, he himself exits the room as well, intent on keeping watch over his bonded companion.

The perspective is then switched to a new one; one where we follow one of the most esteemed Bakugo family servants.

YN hums as she sweeps the halls free of any dirt tracked there throughout the day, giggling as her bonded companion—a tiny, black scaled dragon—flies around her, causing her hair to briefly follow the short breeze.

Shaking her head in amusement, she continues with her task, losing herself in the melody that she has found herself singing.

Unknowingly, the king mindlessly wanders towards the source of the voice, only partially paying attention as he found it.

It doesn't click in his brain that there was another person with him just yet, but this was about to change in one abrupt moment.

As he went to stroll past the servant girl, she twirled with the broom in his direction, accidentally tripping him in the process.

The pair both then snapped out of their stupors, the girl swiftly catching the male by his left arm and using her strength to cease his descent before it could fully begin.

Katsuki turned his chin to chide the girl, but his anger washed away the second his ruby eyes met hers.

Stunned, he shifts his right leg so that he may stable himself more, and YN releases the pressure from her hand on his arm, allowing said hand to slowly fall off of him.
