Today is the day; you can hardly believe this is even happening at all.

Your bold attempt at asking the Katsuki Bakugo out had actually paid off.

Giving him your number had opened the door to your communication, and one thing led to another until today rolled around.

You had spent the entire morning preparing yourself for this date.

You painted your nails, did your hair, slapped on some cute makeup, gave yourself a hearty pep talk, and much more that isn't necessary to mention at the moment.

Point is, you're ready.

Well, as ready as your nerves will allow, that is.

Currently, you're standing under the shade of a tall tree in your favorite park at around noon, just nervously shifting your weight from side to side as you patiently wait for Bakugo to arrive.

He's not going to stand you up, is he..?

You've been waiting for what feels like an eternity, but as soon as the thought enters your mind, you feel the gentle breeze blow your hair behind you and you feel the sudden urge to turn around.

So, you do.

Your soft gaze lands on the man of the hour, and a bright smile tugs at the edge of your lips as he casually approaches you.

He looks at breathtaking as ever, even despite being in ripped jeans and a baggy t-shirt.

You could tell he made an effort, though; especially since his hair is a bit more straightened up than usual. Just a bit, however.

"Hi," you lightly greet as he halts about two feet in front of you, your hands loosely clasping at your front as you automatically stand taller in his presence.

"Hi," he gruffly replies, and you immediately catch a whiff of his intoxicating cologne right after. He smirks a little, eyeing your attire, "You look nice."

You slightly giggle, reciprocating the compliment before briefly chewing on your lower glossed lip, excited.

Taking a step forward, you cheekily inquire, outstretching your hand, "Shall we?"

Bakugo tsks before lacing his fingers with yours, rolling his eyes as he quips back, "We shall."

The two of you then set off, thus officially beginning your date.

Both of you banter back and forth for a while as you stroll around the park, words flowing as graciously as a river as you do.
