There was a boy you used to know.

He had pointed, blonde hair and irises that blazed a fiery shade of red.

His personality was painted just as crimson, but even so, you adored him.

Scenes from your previous life flash before your eyes as you dubiously stare at the boy halted in front of you.

The way he would throw you to the ground and spit at your feet in disgust.

The way he would pin you against the lockers by your uniform's collar with such a rage that was insurmountable to you.

The way he would mock every single little mistake you ever made.

And, not to forget, the way he had always called you by one name.

"Tch. You're a jinx."

He was the one who gave you your name, so at least you had that to thank him for.

Regardless of that fact, the more you examine the male currently in your presence, the more the bloodlust-filled fury wells up in your heart.

"Katsuki Bakugo," you lowly snarl through gritted teeth, your fingers tightening around your handcrafted machine gun.

"YN..?" the boy slowly questions, appearing to be almost astonished to see you.

To see who you've become.

It makes sense, considering you've been missing for the past five years.

You narrow your gaze, sharply correcting him, "It's Jinx now."

Then you proceed to cut his next statement off as you gesture to the chaos surrounding you with the hand that's armed, sending the blonde a sly smile. "Here to stop me?"

Now aiming the weapon in his direction, you stomp your heel onto the chest of a wounded civilian beside you, causing them to wheeze out slim breaths as your grin widens.

Bakugo glares in response, his palms crackling as he itches to use his quirk.

With a giggle tinged with insanity, you continue, placing your index finger on the trigger of your gun, "Well, go ahead. Try."

He takes a step forward and you dig your foot deeper into the civilian's chest, who cries out in protest from the pressure.

Bakugo immediately ceases all of his movements, pursing his lips in agitation as he's unsure of how to properly tackle the situation.

He attempts a different approach: "YN, you don't have to do this. This isn't like yo—"

A bullet abruptly flies into his shoulder and he stumbles, yelling out at the searing pain it creates. The sparks in his palms fade from the shock, but then return full force.

"SHUT UP!" you scream, digging your free hand's nails into the skin of your thigh, drawing some blood as you do so. "You don't GET to say that SHIT to me! You have NO IDEA who I AM or WHAT I can DO!"

Your vision heightens as he shoots a blast your way, and you crouch just in the knick of time to avoid being blasted into the next century.

Within milliseconds you're positioned directly behind Bakugo, and you kick the back of his knee in order to make him fall.

As he's stunned, you roughly clench his hair in your hand and place the barrel of the gun to the side of his head. He grunts, but doesn't move a muscle.

"Not sure if you noticed, Bakugo, but I developed my quirk while I was gone," you inform him, your tone now giddy despite your words seeping with dangerous intent. "I became who I was meant to be."

Leaning down next to his ear, you murmur, smiling psychotically as you feel him uncharacteristically tremble, "You made me this."

"YN—"

That's when you pull the trigger, and a deafening shot rings out in the atmosphere.

You laugh, "I knew you would look so much better in red!"

I know I didn't include everything you mentioned in the request @Alyssajj11, but I hope it was still to your liking! I figured this would be better as a shorter story, especially since I wasn't totally sure what events should go down here.

For context, basically, YN was on a killing spree and was destroying the city with other villains she had associated herself with when Bakugo confronted her lol
