Chapter 28: Alien Invasion

Lukas's POV

We were all in the craft services tent getting breakfast from Chef. Geoff and Bridgette were just making out in line. Not sure how they never get tired of doing that.

"Keep the line moving love birds." Duncan patted as they moved out of the way."Forgot how hungry I got last year eating on Chris's wrecked schedule."

"I know. Got to the point where I'd killed for Chef's disgusting food. No offense Chef." Gwen said.

"None taken." He said, letting Gwen's share of eggs fall on the floor.

"Wow." I let out a small laugh.

"You can have my burnt toast big mouth." Duncan told her.

"Judging from that gut, I thought you'd be all over the extra carbs." Gwen smiled.

"Hehehe. Nice."

"You can have my toast, Gwen." Trent offered.

"Thanks, but I can't take enemy toast." She responded.

"Enemies? We're not enemies." Trent clarified.

"In this game we're all enemies." Duncan pointed.

"It is a competition." I commented.

"Except for me and Gwen... I'll always have her back, no matter what."

"Right back at ya babe." She pointed back at Trent.

"I'll remind you two of that when the money's being divvied up." Duncan smirked.

We sat at a table and began eating our breakfast.

"Welcome to day 2 of Total Drama Action!" Chris said.

"Are you gonna do that every time?" Duncan asked.

"Yes, yes I am."

"Alright then."

"Today's movie genre: Aliens! Our unpaid interns have been hard at work figuring out what makes an alien movie successful. Chef?" Chris said.

"You have three basic groups. Aliens wanna take over the world and start making lots of baby aliens. People fight back.... and the military gets called in. Yo Chris? Where's my paycheck at?!" Chef asked.

"It's in the mail." He answered,"Today's challenge: Find an alien egg and return to home base before mama alien finds you. The two fastest get to pick the teams this season."

"Hm... cool." I commented.

"Sorry losers, but no one knows alien movies the way I do. The more obscure, the better." Duncan smirked.

"I'm gonna blend up those no-good aliens, and have them em' for breakfast!" Gwen quoted.

"Woah, did you just reference Alien Chunks?!" I asked.

"Yeah. You've seen it?"

"Yeah! Dude, I love that movie!" I grinned.

"No way, me too!"

/Lukas:"Man, I love how much me and Gwen have in common. It's just nice to have someone to relate to on so many things."\

"Dudes, Alien Chunks is my favorite alien movie of all time!" Duncan smiled.

"Me too! I've seen it 27 times!" Gwen stated.

"38." I added.

"53." Duncan added.

"You two will be tough to beat, but I have my lucky charm." She smirked.

/Gwen:"I love the scene in Alien Chunks where they turn the aliens into fruity blended drinks. I even have the necklace."\
