Getting closer closer closer,

This chapter is probably hard to read, since, halfway through, I used a tablet. I think it reset the spaces between text, making all of it close together- sorry! I'll fix it Monday!

The day came by so fast.

And when it did, Shuichi made sure he was ready.

He took a shower, brushed his teeth. 

He put on a white t-shirt, jeans, simple black sneakers, and a black jacket.

Something comfortable, casual, and decent enough to be worn.

Considering that two people from this group acted like children around some things, Shuichi figured they weren't going somewhere super fancy.

Wherever they could be going, however, Shuichi was sure it would be really fun. Since, it was Kaede, and Miu planning it out.

Shuichi walked out his room, and knocked onto Kaede's.

She opened the door, and gave him a smile. "Shuichi! Hi! I see you're ready! I just need to quickly brush my hair, and see if Miu and Kokichi are ready, alright?"

Shuichi nodded, and stood by the side of her door waiting in the hall when she closed it.

After a few minutes, Kaede came out.

Her hair was straightened more than normal, she wore jean shorts, and a pink sweater. "I'm ready. Miu said she was ready too, and Kokichi didn't reply to me, so we can run by his room to check on him, okay?"

"Alright." Shuichi said.

The two of them walked down the hall a bit, where Miu stood outside her room. Her hair was up in buns, she wore a crop top with a beige sweater on top, and skinny black jeans. Of course, like always, she had on heals. Shuichi can't really think of moments where she didn't wear heals.

Miu smiled, "Hey, Kaede. Shuichi."

Miu walked towards Kaede, and kissed her cheek very lightly.

Kaede smiled, "You look perfect, Miu."

Miu didn't reply, instead stared at Kaede's eyes with a soft smile.

They seemed to be conversating without talking.

After a few moments, they started to head down to Kokichi's room.

For some reason, Shuichi could feel his heart pounding.

Almost like...

Something was wrong.

The same dread Shuichi got during The Killing Game.

When they got to the door, Shuichi was practically shaking.

Kaede went to knock on the door, but Miu took over, slamming the door open.
