C H A P T E R   T E N : V A C A T I O N

- day of the flight to Australia -

Y/N heard her alarm go off, making her groan.

,,Just let me sleep, it's 2 AM..." She mumbled putting a pillow on her head. She then sighed and sat up to put it off. She then got out of her bed. She went to the bathroom and took a shower and got dressed into something comfortable, since the flight was quite long. She then walked downstairs while putting her hair into a high ponytail. She then noticed Hyunjin sitting by the table, yawning and rubbing into his eyes. Y/N giggled seeing him like that and sat next to him, taking a packed bun and putting it into her backpack. She then turned to Hyunjin. He was just staring in front of him, zoned out. Y/N waved in front of his eyes.
,, Hello? Earth to Hyunjin?" Hyunjin snapped out of his daydream and looked at Y/N with tired eyes. He then smiled.
,, Good morning, Y/N." He greeted sweetly with a deep, raspy voice.
,, Shouldn't you go and take a shower, or something? You look like you need that." Y/N said and looked him up and down. He shook his head.
,,I'm fine, don't worry." He smiled and then stood up and walked into the kitchen. After a while he walked out with his mother.
,,Good morning, sweetie. What do you guys want for breakfast?" She asked sweetly.
,,Anything is fine, thank you." Y/N answered and smiled. Ms. Hwang nodded and then left again. She then came back and put the plate with an omelette and some cherry tomatoes on in front of the girl.
,,Thank you Eomma, I'll eat it well!" Y/N said cutely and waited until Hyunjin started eating and then also she started eating. After they ate they got ready to go to the airport.
They then got into the car and drove to the airport.

Y/N was staring out of the window, thinking about her mom.

Is she in a better place now?

She smiled at the memories that were passing through her mind.

I really hope she's happy and save now.

She then fell asleep.

- FLASHBACK -

,,Mommy, catch me if you can!"
,,But Y/N-ah, you're to fast for me! I won't ever catch you!"
,,Then I'll be as slow as a snail! So you can catch me!" A little girl shouted out and started walking really slowly. The woman chuckled.
,,Isn't that a bit too slow, sweetie?" She smiled. The little girl shook her head.
,, It's not, you'll be able to catch me, so it's not too slow but it also isn't too fast for you." The girl said and smiled and continued her slow pace. The woman giggled and sat on the couch. The girl eyed her mother and then stood still.
,,Why aren't you playing anymore, mommy?" She pouted and sat on her mothers lap. The woman sighed.
,,Mommy is a bit tired, honey. Mommy wants to take a nap, but it'll have to wait, we have to get Yongbokie, wanna come along?" The woman picked the child up and kept her into her arms. The little girl nodded excitedly, happy to finally see her big brother again.

,,Lixie!!" The girl squealed out and ran to the little boy.
,,Hi, Y/N-ah." He chuckled and hugged his little sister. He then ran towards his mother and hugged her.
,,How was your day, honey? Was it nice to see your friend's again?" She asked. The boy nodded and started talking about his day as they walked out of the school building.

,,That sounds great, sweetheart. I'm happy for you." Their mother said smiling sweetly when the little boy stopped talking.

,,Mommy, where is daddy?"

,,Mommy?"

,,Mom?!"

,,Oh God, Y/N, call an ambulance!"

,,Take the children away!"

,,No, mommy, wake up!"

,,Take them away!"

,,Mom, please don't leave us!"
,,Y/N and I need you mom..."

,,Lixie, what's happening?"

,,Mommy died, sis."

,,But she'll be okay."

,,She's with the angels now."

,,Y/N, wake up!"

Y/N quickly opened her eyes, feeling a hand on her left cheek. Her cheeks felt wet; she had been crying in her sleep.

,,Oh gosh, you're awake. Are you okay? What happened?" Hyunjin worriedly asked. He stared into her eyes, calming Y/N down. She was breathing heavily and sweating a lot.
,,I had some memories from my mother. I now remember how she died." Y/N said, looking down at her hands. She then looked into Hyunjins eyes and felt his hand on her cheek. She blushed and took it off of her cheek.

,,Are you okay now, honey?" Ms. Hwang asked, just to make sure. Y/N nodded. She then changed the subject.

,,Are we almost there?"

,,Yep, you slept all the way long." Mr. Hwang laughed. Y/N chuckled quietly and looked at Hyunjin. He was staring out of the window. Y/N laid her hand on his, making him look at her.
,,Are you okay, Hyunjin?" She asked. He shrugged.
,,Just tired." He said quietly and turned his head again. Y/N frowned but shrugged it off. They then arrived at the airport and mr. Hwang searched a space to park his car. Y/N took her stuff out of the car and followed her parents. When they got inside, they checked in and went to some benches, where they saw their friends sitting with their parents. Y/N ran to Felix and hugged him.
,,Hi Lix!" She greeted him sweetly. He smiled back.
,,Hi Y/N, slept well?"
,,Yeah," she answered.
,, C'mon guys, we have to go get our flight, we can't miss it." Ms. Hwang said and the boys said goodbye to their parents and then went together with Ms. And Mr. Hwang.
They say down in their seats, Y/N sat in-between Felix and Chan, Ms. Hwang, Mr. Hwang and Hyunjin sat together, Minho sat with Seungmin and Jeongin (to watch the children), Changbin sat together with Jisung and a stranger. The plane took off and they took their flight to Australia.
