The ultimate decision:
Tell the bitter truth,
Or spare them with a white lie.The lie might work at first
But as time goes by,
You will wonder
Why oh why oh why did I have to lie
Minutes hours days weeks years pass
And you have to build on that one white lie
So finally, at last
You give in and tell the bitter truth. The bitter truth hurts their heart,
It may tear them apart.
And all you can do is stay and comfort with what little you have
You feel the guilt from the lie wash away,
Only to be replaced by shame.Because you didn't tell them the bitter truth in the first place.
