The Narnians charge through the castle and into the courtyard. Glenstorm collides with the Telmarines and cuts them down. Peter and Red raced together and attacked the soldiers effortlessly. The mice join the fight scurrying through the Telmarines and cutting them down. Caspian fights by Susan's side who fires her arrows. She stabs an oncoming Telmarine and uses the same arrow to fire into another.

Several Narnians including the fauns and leopards, nimbly climb up the Telmarine walls and fight the enemy. Edmund climbs over the the rooftop and watches the fight from above.

"ARCHERS!" a Telmarine screams.

Susand notices the soldiers lining up above them with their crossbows at the ready. Ed sees them pointing their weapons, one is directed at Peter. He slides down the roof and knocks the soldier over the wall.

Peter and Red look up and watch the soldier fall. Peter calls to his brother as he sees the other soldiers turn to Edmund. He jumps into the next room and slams the door shut. Arrows pierce the wood. Red flies up to the soldiers and attacks them.

Miraz walks out onto a balcony, overlooking the fight. He grins when he sees Peter below. Peter turns and runs up a flight of stairs. A Minotaur runs ahead of him running through any Telmarine in his path. Red flies over to Peter, and protects him from behind. The Minotaur leaps to the balcony, startling Miraz. He tries to climb over but an arrow pierces his chest. The Narnian cries out in pain dropping his sword. Glozelle lowers the crossbow as he watches Miraz step towards the Narnian. He pushes the creature off the ledge. Peter and Red watch helplessly as their ally falls to the floor.

"Get that gate closed", Miraz commands. Glozelle reloads his crossbow.

Meanwhile, Edmund finds himself on top of another turret. He bolts the door with his torch and looks over at the sheer drop. Telmarine soldiers thud heavily on the door trying to break through.

In the gatehouse, Trumpkin guards the room. Two guards barge in and he fires an arrow at them. One soldier falls to the floor but Trumpkin is soon overwhelmed and he is pushed out of the window by a soldier's shield. He plummets onto a soldier before landing on his head.

A Minotaur watches as the soldiers try to break the weighted chain with an axe. The weight falls and slams to the ground. The gate starts to fall. The Minotaur rushes to the gate and holds it on his shoulders.

Peter sees no other options. "Fall back!"

Caspian runs across the courtyard.

Peter runs down the staircase knocking down another Telmarine, "we need to retreat, now!" He calls to Glenstorm, "Go, get her out of here".

Susan looks at her brother, "Caspian?"

"I'll find him".

The Centaur picks up Susan and gallops through the courtyard.

The silver-maned Minotaur strains under the weight but heaves it back up. Narnians slowly filter out of the castle.

Edmund is now trapped on the turret. The soldiers corner him to the edge. He reaches for his sword but something catches his eye from below. Without a word, Edmund drops. The guards peer after him. He flies up on a Griffin, knocking the guards off balance. He ascends and flies over the palace.

Caspian returns to the courtyard with the Professor on horse back holding another horse behind him. Peter slays another Telmarine. Caspian pauses and looks up at Miraz.

"Give the order", Miraz speaks to his general.

"My men are still down there".

Peter jumps onto the horse from Caspian heroically and makes for their retreat. Miraz takes the crossbow impatiently. "Now!"
