Unprofessional

6A.M. I wake up from a pillow being thrown on top of me. What happened? Everything's sort of a blur. Besides the fact that i'm laying on the floor with the girl from the bar walking beside me. "You- You um have to go. Im late for work and that's not what you want to be on the first day" She says. "Or we could finish what we started." I smile. "No we can't." She looks at me. "I'm going to shower. When I get back you won't be here, okay?" She laughs. "I didn't get your name." I state. She shakes my hand. "Meredith" She laughs. "Derek" I grin. "Okay. um, bye." She smiles slightly. I wave her goodbye as she walks upstairs to the bathroom. I get my things and get going. I'm late for work too. First day at Seattle Grace. New attending. It'll be great. Maybe it will take my mind off of Meredith. She's so beautiful it's unreal. Such a sweet woman. I arrive at the hospital. I'm greeted by Cheif Webber and he started me off on patients already. I was discussing with another doctor charts for a young girl named Katie Bryce. Apparently she was Dr.Burke's patient but he's in an emergency surgery. Definitely jealous but I understand. As i'm speaking with Dr. Campton I look up. Meredith. She's the new intern? She walks out of the room faster then i've ever seen any one do before. I run after her calling out "Meredith!" She turned around. "Yes Dr.Shepherd?" I smile confused. "Dr.Shepherd? This morning it was Derek." She looked down. "Let's just pretend this didn't happen. It's very unprofessional." She looks at me and walks away. I cant help but wonder why. Is this some type of coincidence? It can't be. It definitely means something more.
