Trigger warning: Rape victim

Good morning. Back to work. On my way to the elevator I run into Meredith. She smiles. "Seattle has fairy boats. I've been here for six weeks and I had no idea." I said. Meredith laughs  "Yes. Seattle is surrounded by water on three sides." She laughs but still doesn't turn to me. "hence the fairy boats. Now I have to like it here." I laugh. We both get in the elevator. "I'm not going out with you" Meredith says randomly. I'm confused. "Did I ask you to go out with me?" I look over. "do you want to go out with me?" I ask. "I'm not dating you. Your my boss I can't sleep with you." She says. "There's a line drawn. No crossing the line." I look behind me at her. "So this line is it imaginary or should I get you a pen?" I ask sarcastically. She drops her papers, pushes me against the wall and kissed me. I've never felt so much rush so fast. The elevator stops and she gets off. So confused. Back in the scrub room I finished up my surgery with Burke. He asked me to get lunch sometimes so I agree. I'm filling the papers and get pages. Rape victim. The rapist should be in any moment. Considering she but IT off. Hopefully she wakes up. Meredith doesn't seem pleased by this situation neither. I sit and wait watching to see if she wakes. Got him. He stumbled right into the hospital. I get the update. I go back to check up on the victim. No improvement. Meredith is carrying around the severed penis. I've been waiting all night for her to wakeup. It's horrible how a person could do this. Meredith talks to me for a while. She tells me about her baby situation. Thank god she was there. Then. Monitor starts beeping. Still not waken up. "She's gonna be okay." I tell Meredith. "If she ever wakes up." She says. She knows more than i'd hoped. " Yes. If she ever wakes up." She smiles. I report to the offender. Nothing ideal. I change up and get ready for heading home. I stand by the elevator. Here comes Meredith. "So my fairy boat thing is very intense." I say. She laughs. "I'm so taking the stairs this time." She laughs as she walks away eyeing me. "It's sad really. No self control." I say. Smiling as she walks off. She's amazing.
