"Ah... What a beautiful day. Isn't it a beautiful day?" Shinobu says while she sips on her coffee. "What happened to her?" Kanao asks Kanae. "Tomioka is back and he took her home" She answers. "I'm going to work now" Shinobu says as she takes her purse and goes outside her house. She hummed as she walked to work.
She bumped into Mitsuri on her way to work. "You seem joyful today, Did something happen?" She asked. "Tomioka-san is back." She answered. "Oh. Tapioca is back. Why didn't he tell us?" She says. "I think he's guilty that he left us without saying anything. He's scared to face us." She says.
"Makes sense." Mitsuri says while eating her candy bar. They both went their ways and went to work. She went to the hospital she works for. While Mitsuri went to the restaurant where she works at.
Shinobu always worked hard and went home late and barely gets time to sleep or rest. While, Giyu on the other hand is at the school he teaches at and a lot of students are already trying to flirt with him. To prevent such things from happening, He was really strict and bossy.
He gets off work early so he has time to rest. Sabito has a small business and can take care of himself. Iguro works with Mitsuri at the restaurant and Shinazugawa is a fitness trainer. Himejima works at a daycare and Muichiro is a freeloader. Tomioka was done with work and went home. He just slept after his long day at work.
Mitsuri called everyone to hang out and eat dinner. They all agreed to meet up at the restaurant she works at. She also texted Tomioka and he didn't reply back. She waited for them to come and everyone arrived except for Tomioka. They all waited but he didn't arrive.
They didn't wait longer and just ate their food. Mitsuri also brought alcohol and beer. It was alright since tomorrow is a weekend. Shinobu was a little upset he didn't come but of course she still had a smile on her face.
She ate a few pieces of salmon daikon and drank a few shots of alcohol. Her vision was getting blurrier and the noise were getting inaudible. She was getting dizzy but she kept on drinking. While they were having fun, A person went inside the door. It was Tomioka. He was taller than before and looked mature. He was wearing a plain dress shirt and slacks. He sat down next to the drunk Shinobu and took the drink she was holding and drank it. "H-Hey, That's mine!" She shouted. He didn't say anything and he kept drinking the drink she kept getting.
Everyone was just staring at them. It was awkward since Tomioka hasn't said a single word since he arrived. A few more minutes of awkwardness later and Shinobu fell asleep. Everyone was sleepy and tired and wanted to go home. "I'm going home." Sanemi stood up and went outside. Everyone also left but Shinobu and Tomioka was still there.
He carried her on his back and wrapped her arms around his neck. He went outside and walked. He stopped walking and didn't know where to go. He didn't know where her house was since they moved to a new house. He went to his apartment and knocked on the door. "Tanjirou and Nezuko might be asleep." He thought to himself.
He left and went to his other apartment. He grabbed the keys from his pocket and opened the door. He layed her down on the bed in the guest room and wrapped her with a blanket. He changed his clothes and slept in his room.
Next morning...
She woke up and felt someone hug her from behind. She wanted to move but she couldn't. She turned around and saw him. Her face and ears immediately redden and she tried to stand up. But his arms were wrapped up around her. He woke up and She immediately pretended to sleep. He quickly removed his arm and stood up.
"Crap. I must've thought this was my room when i went to the bathroom last night." He said. He went outside the door and cooked breakfast. Shinobu sat up and was red. She couldn't believe what happened. She went outside and saw him eating his food.
She sat down across from him and asked him. "What am i doing here?" "You got drunk, I didn't know where you live so i took you here." He said while he handed her a plate with food. "Ugh. I must've been out of my mind." She said. She finished her food and called Kanae to picked her up.
