Tomioka carried her because she fell asleep. He called Mitsuri and asked her where Shinobu's house was. She told him and he went to the address she gave him. He knocked on the door and Kanae opened the door. "What happened?!" She said. He entered and placed her on the couch.
"I just saved your sister from getting assaulted by creeps, I guess." He said. "What happened to them? Did you report them to the police?" She asked. "No, They got away." He answered. "As long as she's okay, It's fine. You can go now." Kanae says. He went outside. Kanae carried Shinobu to her room and wrapped her with a blanket.
Next morning...
"What on earth did i just do?!?!" Shinobu thought to herself." I hope he thinks that it was all just a mistake since i was drunk!" She says. "How am i supposed to face him!? Maybe i'll just pretend that i didn't remember anything!" She adds.
She took a bath and went to work. She was a little disappointed at her co-workers because they forced her to come. She tried to avoid talking to them the whole day. When she was about to go home she saw a familiar figure in the hallway.
It was Tomioka. He looked like he was waiting for someone so she tried to see what he was going to do. He stood up and walked to a nurse and asked her "What time does Kochou's shift end?" He said to her. "Her shift should be finished by now, sir." The nurse said.
"Why does he want to see me?" She thought to herself. She walked to him and poked his shoulder. He turned around and said "Oh." She laughed because of his reaction. A good-looking co-worker of Shinobu walked to them and asked for her number. Tomioka couldn't hear their conversation but saw that she was looking uncomfortable and he was a little angry. He didn't like seeing her being uncomfortable and not being herself in front of others. So he thought of something.
She walked to Tomioka and asked him "So? Why did you come here to see me?" "I wanted to see if you were okay." He said. "That's all?" She asked. "No... There's one more thing but can we please talk about it somewhere privately?" He said. He gave her co-worker a death glare before they went to Douma's coffee shop because there wasn't that much people.
"So? What did you wanna tell me?" She said while sipping on her coffee. "I hope he doesn't mention what happened yesterday!" She thought to herself. His hands were fidgeting on the table and it took a while before he opened his mouth and spoke because he was very nervous.
"L-Look, I-I'm not good w-with words b-but.." He said. "Here it goes. I really hope i don't get rejected." He thought. "I-I really liked you ever since we met and i want you to go out with me." He said while looking down with his hands still fidgeting on the table.
She giggled because he looked very scared and was nervous. "I really like you too. I was supposed to tell you but i got drunk and accidentally confessed yesterday" She said. "I thought she was just kidding when she told me that when she was drunk." He thought. "So does that mean you'll go out with me...?" He asked. She nodded and when he saw her he smiled a little.
