Tomioka got a call from someone. His eyes immediately widen and he almost dropped his phone. "What's wrong?" Shinobu asked. "I'm sorry, I have to go. There's an emergency" He said while walking. She followed him and went to the exit. "I'll call you a taxi. Is that ok? I really have to go" He said. She sighed and nodded. He called a taxi for her and sent her home.

He also quickly called another taxi for himself. He went inside and asked the driver to speed up. He arrived at his apartment and packed his things. The siblings saw him and asked him what was happening. "Grandpa is at the hospital and is in critical condition right now. He said that he wanted to see me" He said.

"Here." Tomioka says while giving an envelope to Tanjirou. "What's this?" He asked. "It's money. I don't think i can return early" He said. "But you're gonna come back right?" Nezuko asked. "Of course." He said while hugging Nezuko. He knew that they could both take care of themselves even if he was gone. Besides, Tanjirou is almost an adult now. He left right away and rode a taxi to the airport.

Sabito texted Shinobu and told her what happened. When she found out, She wanted to catch up to him to the airport and ask him something. She asked Sabito to drive her to the airport. He agreed because he also wanted to see him off. He picked her up and drove there. When they arrived, She quickly got out of the car and went inside. "Hey! Wait up!" Sabito says while running after her. It was a huge airport so it took some time before she found him.

She saw a tall man and she already knew exactly who it was. She ran to him and poked his aggressively poked his shoulder. "Ouch!" He turned around and saw her. "Oh..." He looked down. "Were you gonna leave without telling me!?" She asked.
"I knew you were gonna worry so i didn't wanna tell you" He answered. "You expect me to be ok with you leaving without telling me?" She said. He hugged her. "Listen, I don't know how long i might not come home, It might take a few years, But i'm gonna come back. I promise" He said while still hugging her.

She hugged her back and buried her face in his chest while shedding a few tears. Then she finally stopped crying and looked up to his face. "You better come back." She said while taking a few steps back. "Yes ma'am!" He said while saluting. "You idiot" She punched his arm but he didn't budge. "Oh. I forgot, I was going to give this to you on our date but i ruined it" He says while taking out a small box from his jacket. "A butterfly pendant?" She said while taking out the pendant from the box.

"Yep." He said. "You've been giving me a lot of butterfly things lately.. I wonder why?" She teased him. He grabbed his suitcase. "See you" He said while walking away and waving. She also waved back and smiled. Meanwhile, Sabito was hiding behind the trashcan recording them. Shinobu immediately noticed him and chased him. "Delete that! I'll kill you!" She said while chasing him around the airport. Tomioka was inside the plane. He booked a business class seat so he could get some privacy. He closed the door and fell asleep.
