“Sabrina! You need to hurry up and get down here. You have to leave soon so you get to the airport on time,” my mother yelled as she was making breakfast. “Yeah Sabrina, come on get up. I need you to leave as quick as you can so that I can have your room,” my brother said while pounding on the door. He then walked away laughing. “Sam! If you don’t shut up. Also, you know I hate it when people call me Sabrina,” I yell back at him. I am thankful to finally be leaving this house. I know I will miss seeing my family everyday, but I know I will come home to visit.
I finished brushing my teeth and I walked out of my bathroom. I threw on tan khaki pants, with a red sweatshirt and a jean jacket. I finished the look with my white high top converse and I was finished getting dressed. I grabbed my phone to check the time. Damnit, my mom was right. I am running late. It’s 10:30. The drive to the airport is about an hour and a half and my flight leaves at 12:20. I run out of my room and grab a piece of toast that just popped out of the toaster. I hugged my family goodbye and ran out the door. Luckily my dad had already called an uber and they were sitting outside. I hopped in throwing my bags in the back and we were off.
*Time skip to on the plane*
I was looking out the window about the fall asleep when I got a text from my aunt.
Aunt Mandy- Hey Sab. Just texting to see how the flight is going.Sab- It is going pretty good. I’m kind of tired so I think I am going to take a nap.
Aunt Mandy- Okay sweetie. Also, I have some great news.
Sab- Oooh, what?
Aunt Mandy- Your uncle and I found a cheap car that we thought would be perfect for you to use when you get here.
Sab- Oh no, it’s okay. You really don’t have to.
Aunt Mandy- Well… I guess you’ll just have to see when you get here.
Sab- Okay, well I am gonna take that nap. I probably won’t see you for a couple of days, because I plan to head straight to the dorms and focus on the first week of school.
Aunt Mandy- Okay sweetie. Well just remember to come over soon rather than later.
*Time skip to Sab landing, and arriving at her dorm room*
I had been given my room key and been told where to go. I wasn’t paying much attention to that. I just wanted to know who my roommate was going to be.
I got to my room and was opening the door. I walked inside and it seemed as though my roommate was already here. They seemed to be nowhere in sight. I plopped down on the bed that I assumed was mine. My eyelids were heavy and I started to fall asleep when I felt a pair of eyes staring at me.
I quickly opened my eyes and saw a girl. She was tall and very very pretty. Everyone one thinks I am straight but, I came out to my immediate family as bisexual about 8 months ago. Since then I have had one girlfriend. Oh, back to the girl.
“Hi, my name is Anna Shumate. Looks like I am your roommate’” she said as she stuck her hand out.
I grabbed her hand shaking it and said, “Hi Anna, my name is Sabrina Quesasda. I preferred if you called me Sab though.”
She looked me up and down slowly letting go of my hand. I couldn’t tell if she was checking me out or what but she stopped and looked back at my eyes making eye contact. “I think I will call you Sabrina for now. Unless you have a better name in mind.” She took a step closer. “I’d prefer if you called me Daddy.” Taking another step forward she whispered into my ear, “But that name is best used when screamed”. With that she laughed and turned around to her side of the room.
Oh, so we are playing that game. I thought to myself.
