Chapter 16 - Attack

You woke the next morning to the sun in your eyes. You sit up and yawn but feel something next to you moves. You look and see Sesshomaru sitting up. You blush, remembering last night. He looks at you and gives a rare smile.

"Good morning my mate." He says. Your ears perk up at that and you smile.

"Good morning." You say. He puts his hand on your cheek and kisses you. You kiss back before he stands, helping you up. after you both finished last night, you both got dressed before sleeping under the moon and stars. You then walked to camp, only for Rin to run over and hug Sesshomaru's leg.

"Lord Sesshomaru!" Rin yells as she holds him. He bends down and hugs her, picking her up.

"Come. Lets go back to Jaken and Ah-Un." Sesshomaru says. Rin nods and waves at Inuyasha's group. You look at him.

"We will wait. Say your good byes." Sesshomaru says. You smile and look at them. You move and hug Inuyasha. He hugs you back before pulling away.

"Your smell has changed. It seems he has taken you on as a mate." Inuyasha says. You nod.

"Yeah." you say shyly. He smiles and roughs your hair.

"Stay save. I feel like the final battle will be soon." Kagome says before hugging you. you hug back. You then hug Sango, Miroku and Shippo before you wave and run over to Sesshomaru, who had put Rin back on the ground.

"Ready." You say. Rin takes your hand and the three of you walk. You noticed the heat from before was gone and knew it was because of Sesshomaru.

"Lord Sesshomaru, what did it mean when Shippo said you took Jovanka as your mate?" Rin asked. He looked at her.

"When did he say that?" Sesshomaru asked her.

"Last night." Rin answered. He smiled at her.

"It means she is my wife." He says. Rin smiles.

"So, she's like my mom?" Rin asks. Sesshomaru knew that she thought of him as a father or father figure, even if she never did say it. Sesshomaru gave a nod.

"Yes." He says. Rin smiled and looks up at you.

"Can I call you mom?" Say asks. You had tears as you smile and nod, bending down to pick her up and hold her. You couldn't have asked for anything more perfect.

But it didn't last long as Sesshomaru stopped suddenly. you looked, seeing the sky grow dark with black clouds.

"Take Rin into the forest and hide." Sesshomaru says. You didn't hesitate and ran. As you did, the air filled with the scent of Naraku, but it was different. You saw a small cave and ran to it, putting Rin down.

"My Rin. Go in there and hide. do not come out until Sesshomaru, myself, Jaken or Ah-un come." You say. Rin nods and runs in, hiding. you turn and run the other way but see Naraku appear and stop. He looked the same, but his out fit had changed. He smells more like a demon, but still has a bit of human in him.

"Hello my dear." He says. You growl and get into a fight pose with your barrier up. Naraku laughs.

"That won't work." He says but doesn't move. you wait a bit but then feel something move under you and look. Tentacles come out of the ground and grab you. You struggle but they only get tighter.

"Time to leave." He says and turns. You continue to struggle. you then open your mouth but one of the tentacles goes around it, making you bite into it.

"Can't have you calling out for help." Naraku says and takes to the sky's. You let tears fall but you don't stop trying to get away.
