Chapter 17 - Battle

Naraku walked into a castle, dropping you. You moved and ran at him, claws out. You put up a barrier just in case also so he couldn't attack you. You knew you could still attack him but he couldn't attack you, not with these floors. Naraku smiled and held his hand out. Your barrier was now touching his hand and you saw a purple mist go into your barrier. You gasped, jumping back and removed your barrier so you wouldn't be trapped in it with the mist. Naraku gave a laugh and you were once more wrapped in tentacles.

"Let me go!" You screamed as Naraku walked over and grabbed your arm before you could put up a new barrier.

"You see my dear creation. You may have a permanent barrier on your heart." Naraku says and you see him pull out a small, blacken shard of glass.

"But you don't have one on your mind." Naraku says, smiling and places the glass on your forehead. You feel heat and let out a scream before you grow silent and your eyes turn from Lavender, to Gray. He then removes the tentacles.

"Who is your master?" Naraku asks. You look at him.

"You are master." You say. Naraku smiles.

"Good. Put up a barrier around us. We will attack and kill Inuyasha's group, and Sesshomaru's group." Naraku says. You nod and put up a barrier and follow him silently. You were screaming in your head to stop but your body wouldn't listen.

"We are close. Soon the jewel will be complete." Naraku said. You then saw Inuyasha running with his group and Sesshomaru was with him.

"Jovanka! Let her go!" Inuyasha screamed.

"Inuyasha, she has a jewel shard in her forehead. Its black." Kagome said. Naraku smiled.

"That's right. Jovanka is under my control." Naraku said. Sesshomaru growled and Naraku see's him holding a sword, with his left arm.

"Sesshomaru. I see you have your left arm again." Naraku says. Sesshomaru glares at him.

"When you took my mate, it appeared along with a sword. I will use it to cut your head off." Sesshomaru says and jumps up, slashing at the barrier but it does nothing. Naraku then starts to laugh.

"Mate? You took this thing as your mate?" Naraku asks. Everyone is suddenly silent.

"If that's true then killing her would make it that much worse for you." Naraku said and moved a bit, walking up to you and got behind you.

"What are you doing?" Sango yells but there is suddenly a bright light.

"She will be adsorbed back into me. She was once apart of me and she will be apart of me again. Once she is, I will kill you all." Naraku says and you start to sink back into him.

"No!" Sesshomaru yelled. You could hear the sorrow in his voice.

"Sess...hom...aru..." You say slowly.

"It's to late. You belong to me!" Naraku yells. Your eyes close and you push out a barrier, sending Naraku flying and you let out a scream, holding your forehead. It was burning and you couldn't get the glass out of you.

"You will not fight it! You are..."Naraku yelled but you felt something fly by you, cutting your right cheek and Naraku stops.

"N-no..." Naraku says. You let out another scream and your barrier breaks. You then feel a hand on your forehead and the heat went away. You opened your eyes and see Kagome.

"Kagome...What..." You start but a tentacle wraps around your neck and drags you backwards. You struggle but Naraku picks you up, holding your arms behind you and the tentacle tightens around your neck, choking you.

"I will not lose! If I die, she dies!" Naraku screams. You gasp for breath but move a bit, seeing an arrow in his chest. You put up a barrier before Inuyasha could attack him.
