Harry stood and made his way from the Great Hall. Draco swore if he was going to wank over all the torment he'd caused him during the day, he'd be pissed. Well, not really because he loves Harry and could never be mad at him.

He turned to his friends at the eighth year table, quietly listening for some time as the other conversed. He didn't feel like talking much. The letter was playing on his mind. He needed to do something about it. He was pulled from his thought however by Pansy and Blaise sitting down beside him.

"Why so glum?" Pansy chirped as she put a hand on his shoulder.

"Nothing I'm just a bit tired." Draco gave them a half smile, unable to conceal his true feelings.

"Come on mate, that's a lie. What's really wrong?" Basie sounded concerned and maybe they could help?

"Okay, but let's not talk here. Let's go to the library." Draco spoke and raised from his seat. As he made his way from the Great Hall, Pansy and Blaise caught up with him and they all made their way quickly to the Great Hall.

Once their they found a table in the further corner, where no one would be able to hear them. Unless they were eavesdropping behind a book case of course.

"So what's up?" Pansy asked as they sat at the table.

"My father sent me a letter, what it said doesn't matter but I've decided that I'm gonna get a restraining order against him." Draco spoke slowly, emotion thick in his voice. He looked like he could cry.

"Oh Draco, I think it's good you're gonna put that all behind you." Pansy spoke sweetly, putting a supportive hand on his back and rubbing slowly.

"The thing is, I'll only be able to do it over Christmas and Harry asked if I'd spend Christmas with him." Draco went between putting his head down, to looking at his friends. Unsure of what to do.

"So you won't be able to be with him at Christmas?" Blaise asked cautiously. A blind man could see how distressed Draco was.

"He really wanted me there and I'm gonna have to say no because I'll have to deal with my father." The library was quiet. Draco was slowly bringing himself to tears with the stupid situation his father made.

"Draco, you can't do this to Harry." Pansy was frantic as he reminded him of how heartbroken Harry would be when he heard Draco could be with him.

"I have to, I don't really have a choice now do I?" Draco spoke slowly, he knew he had to deal with his father now. He never wanted to hear from him again.

"But that would kill him?" Blaise sounded upset too. He knew telling Harry he couldn't be with him would hurt him. He wanted nothing more than to spend time with Harry. A lovely, quiet Christmas, nothing like the ones he had at the manor.

"I know, but my father..." Draco's voice cracked and his head went down and he could feel the tears starting to well up in his eyes again. One restraining order and he'd never have to see him again.

"Well, we'll be by your side when you do it. You won't be alone." Pansy sounded confident. Sounded like she was being brave for Draco. Her hand went back to Draco's back, rubbing circles to comfort the boy.

Draco was sure he could hear a small sob coming from somewhere in the library and it definitely wasn't him. He decided to ignore it.

"Thanks guys, I'm glad I have you two. I'll sort this thing out with my father. I hope Harry will understand?" Draco sounded more as it he were talking to himself, he hoped Harry would support him.

"I'm sure he will, he's a great guy. You're lucky you have him." Blaise spoke while laughing, giving Draco a little shove which made Draco crack a smile.

"Yeah I am, I don't know what I'd do without him." Draco laughed a little more.

"You should find him and tell him now." Pansy was right, he should let Harry know sooner rather than later. Draco stood quickly from where he was sat.

"You're right I'll go and find him now!" Draco was a lot more confident now. Harry would support him. Draco knew getting his father out of the picture was important and he was sure Harry would think the same. Maybe next Christmas they could spend together.

Draco rushed off out of the library, racing off to find his boyfriend. He searched the castle high and low, from the dungeons to the astronomy tower. He searched their room and the quidditch pitch but Harry was nowhere to be found.

Last place he went was the bathroom so that's where Draco checked next. He rushed into the bathroom but it was empty.

"Looking for someone?" A horrible, shrill voice pierced his eyes. Draco looked around and from one of the toilets sprung the most annoying ghost in Hogwarts castle.

"Harry." Draco said simply, not wishing to enter a conversation with her.

"Oooh I think I saw him before, when he was calling you lying scum." Myrtle cackled, floating closer to Draco.

"He wouldn't call me that." Draco was utterly offended by the impertinence of the ghost. Without hearing her reply he turned on his heel and left the bathroom.

He slowly made his way back up to the common room. If he waited in the dorm for Harry he was bound to turn up eventually, he was probably off causing trouble or solving a castle mystery.

He walked up through the portrait and threw himself on the large chair in front of the fireplace. He sat and waited for what seemed like hours and surely Harry should be back by now?

After a while Draco's eyes started to close slightly, sleep about to take over yet he was rudely awoke by someone shouting.

He sprung up from his chair and turned to the doorway towards the dorms. He was met with an extremely angry looking Ron Weasley. A vicious sneer on his face and his fists clenched.

"You!" Ron shouted as he marched towards Draco.
