Draco Pov

After we got ready, Hermione and I head downstairs for breakfast. Everyone is staring at her. "Granger why did you pick something so flashy, you're taking the attention off me!" I say to my amazingly tolerant wife.

"Oh gosh Malfoy, the world is going to end," she exclaims as we reach the Great Hall. "Draco Malfoy just admitted I'm pretty enough to capture someone's attention."

"Why are you twisting my words?" I exclaim. "It's all that jewellery, that plain face of yours has nothing to do with it."

"I'm just expressing some House Unity, Mr Headboy," she retorts.

"Yeah well you look like a pompous rich kid," I say.

"Look who's talking."

"Mione!" She-Weasel exclaims as she jumps onto her. "Where did you get this stuff?" She examines Hermione from head to toe. "Who plaited your hair? Where did you get that ring? And those earrings and that necklace? Have you been holding out on me?"

"Relax Ginny," she chuckles. "You can go now, Malfoy. Didn't you say redheads have lurgies?"

"Hey don't bring up yesterday," I say. "That was a whole day ago."

"Go shoo to your table," she tells me sternly.

I start walking away, "I'm only going because I don't want poor people's air in my lungs."

"Believe what you want Malfoy!" She-Weasel yells. "We all know which Headstudent out of the two of you is really in charge."

I watch as she turns back to Hermione, "So spill, are these all presents from your secret admirer." I sit down at the table and cast a listening spell over Hermione, "Audite."

"No, no," Hermione says. "My dad got me the ring, my mum got me the necklace and relative got me the earrings."

"What about the dress?" She-Weasel asks.

"I'm perfectly capable of buying a nice dress, Ginny."

I laugh, she did actually choose the dress but she didn't buy it. Mother and Aunt Andromeda insisted that she and my cousin, Luna search through their wardrobes and pick out whatever they wanted.

"Wow, Hermione!" two annoying voices say. Potter and Weaselbee have arrived.

"What happened to you?" Weaselbee asks.

"You look great," Potter says.

"I just felt like looking pretty today," she shrugs.

I see Weaselbee about to stutter something, "You're always..."

"Coactus!" I mutter cutting him off by whispering into his mind 'Don't even think about it.'

He stops midway and shakes his head, "I'm hungry."

"When are you not hungry?" Hermione shakes her head. "Come on, let's eat."

I watch as they all sit down and I sense Hermione's anger through my wedding ring. I didn't even realise she was wearing hers today. 'What's wrong, Mya?'

'Don't think I didn't notice you messing with Ron."

'Weaselbee doesn't know your mine,' I tell her. 'So I can't beat him up for trying to hit on you, so stopping it from happening in the first place is the best I can do.'

'As long as it's not dangerous,' she sighs. 'Anyway, you're the one who picked out my outfit, what did you expect?'

'Oh, I expected it, so I made sure I know how to deal with it, without giving us away,' I explain. 'I think of everything.'

I see her roll her eyes then sense her push me out of her mind and talks to the other Gryffindors. Hermione knows what to expect from me, dragons are very possessive and so am I.
