The Bounded

Chapter Nine: Eva

As Amlia and Andrew leave me, I start heading over to the officers to work my magic.

But I stop as soon as I hear them talking about section three. I don't hear much, but I can kinda make out something about gates being open, riots, a group of kids breaking out and the dead killing guards. I froze when I heard the last part.

I start to head into the officers room. I walk in like the badass I am.

All the guards looked at me, I heard them say "grab her." But little do they know I'm already in their minds. "Cut the power" I say to the officers. The power cuts out and it's show time.

I take off running to Amlia and Andrew. I see them waiting for me at our spot. As soon as I get there Andrew turns to me and goes "Good work Eva."

"Thank you very much, and Andrew are you ready?" I ask him

"Yup, all set. Just waiting for you. So who wants to go first?" he asks, almost laughing

"And what do you find so amusing in this situation Andrew?" she asked him.

Before this "argument" can continue I step up and go "I'll go first. Let's just get this over with."

"Alrighty Eva, step right up," Andrew says.

And all of a sudden it feels like I'm flying and I have no control of myself. I almost feel terrified and I'm getting sick. Andrew ends up dropping me and I hit the ground pretty hard. But I get right back up and wait for Amlia and him.

I look up and here comes Amlia and then Andrew.

It's pitch black and we can't see anything. I turned to them and said "well we didn't think this part through that well. We can't see anything and where are we supposed to go?"

Amlia looks at us and goes "Don't worry about that. I can handle it,"

Then all of a sudden a pack of wolves start running at us

"Umm Amlia, what are you doing" Andrew says, as me and him back up towards the wall.

"It's fine they are here to help! They are going to show us where we can go to hide for tonight," she says in the calmest voice ever.

As the wolves approach us, two come towards me and Andrew. They just look at us and we look at them. Eventually we start to pet them.

Amlia is still talking to them so we let her be.

Then she turns to us and goes "The wolves aren't going to stay with us for the rest of this wonderful adventure, but for tonight they are taking us to their cave."

"Um okay" Andrew says. We all take off following them.

After about 20 minutes of walking in complete darkness, we reach their little den. As soon as we are going to enter, the wolves all turn and start growling. We all turn to see what they are looking at. When we turned we could all see two figures standing in the distance.
