Chapter Fifteen: Derek

I'm terrified. Lily is right next to me, holding my hand. I'm trying to talk to the others and see what's happening. It seems like they want us to stay with them. I'm not sure what to think about that. I mean it's good because I don't think Lily and I can survive on our own. That guy seems very aggressive when it comes to new people. Hopefully he will lighten up soon, It seems like we're gonna be together for a while.

"So we are joining you guys?" says Lily. I think she knows I'm too scared to talk anymore.

"Looks like it. Now get your asses up and stop sitting there like little babies" Andrew says making sure I know that last part was directed at me. I wish he would be nicer.

"Dude what crawled up your ass? Stop being rude. They came from section 1 and we all know section one is like heaven. You know how sensitive they are." Eva says as she slaps Andrew in the arm. I like Eva. She seems nice. Well at least way nicer than Andrew.

"Nothing, we just don't know them. They came out of nowhere and for all we know they could kill us." Andrew says, his eyes not leaving us.

"Yes Andrew, these two kids, sitting on the floor, basically shitting themselves are gonna kill us. Wow who would have thought?" Eva's words drip with sarcasm. She then makes her way over to us. She helps Lily up, then me. She looks at me and goes "I'm sorry about him. He isn't usually like this. He'll warm up soon though." As she says this, she walks away.

"Alright let's go, we don't have all day. And Eva if you want to find them we gotta get going as soon as possible." Amila says while she follows the wolves. I'm not completely sure what all of their powers are. I think Andrew is levation, Amila I'm guessing is talking to animals since she is just trusting them, and with Eva I have no idea. But I guess I'll find out soon.

"We are leaving tomorrow first thing in the morning. Eva do you have anything that belonged to your siblings?" Amila asks Eva. Eva just sits there for a minute before saying "Um yea. I have this peice of cloth from her clothes, I always keep it on me. I'm not sure how much use it'll will be though." Amlia looks at the wolves and then looks back at Eva, "Yea that should work. Can I have it?" Eva hands it over and they start talking. I turn to Lily and ask "How are you feeling?" She looks at me, and it takes her a second to respond, "I'll be ok. Just need a minute is all." "That's fair." I look at her and smile.
