Chapter Fourteen: Harris

I'm worried about my sister. I had no idea she was capable of doing that and I've never seen her in pain like this. I have no idea what to do, but I guess water and a fire is a start. I'm still confused on why Axel came and what his deal is with my sister. I wanna talk about what happened but I'm waiting for the others to get back. So all I can do is sit here. I think this is the first time me and Mandy have both been speechless. She finally breaks the silence with "Why do you look so freaked out." She still sounds like she's in pain, but she is sounding a little better. "I don't know Mandy. I've never seen you like this. I have no idea where we're going or what the plan is. I'm just stressed.'' All she does is look at me for a second before saying "Do you think she's still alive?" and instantly I know who she's talking about because, frankly, I've been asking myself that question a lot. I don't know how to answer her. "I'm not sure, but I hope so. She's still young so I'm hoping for the best." Mandy looks at me and goes "Well, we know her powers are mind control which means they probably sent her to section 2, so there is a high chance she is." and as soon as she says that, I get an idea. "Wait, Mandy. Why don't we go look for her? I mean what else could we do?" She looks at me, and her face lights up with hope.

Just then the boys walk in. I can't help but laugh when they do. Axel walks in soaking wet carrying wood, and Louis comes in with water and he's laughing hysterically. I hear Mandy laughing and then Axel goes "Ha ha, yes I fell into the river. Big deal. But if it wasn't for me falling in we wouldn't have found the stuipid water. So you're welcome." He almost laughs as he says this. Mandy just blurts out "I wanna find my sister. I'm pretty sure she is still alive and she is in section 2. We don't have anything better to do. So lets do it!" After hearing what she said, we all looked at her. Then Louis goes "Okay sure, let's go. But first, what happened back there. I had no idea you were capable of that and are you like, okay?" Mandy just sits there for a second. "Yea I'm fine. I'm not even sure what happened. Like I know I have the ability to communicate with the dead, and I know I can bring them back. But I never know the full extent of my powers... it kind of just happened. I guess I must have overdid it, and that's why my body gave out. Like in section 3 they never taught us how to use our powers. I never knew what I could do". "Remind me to never shapeshift into the underworld people'' Axel says. Then all we hear is an aircraft going over the cave shining a light below it. I can hear officers from a distance because of my advanced senses.
