Hiccup the Vampire

Chapter 1:The Beginning

Hiccup's POV

Viking era

It was a nice day on Berk until...they attacked, Vampires, then it turned into complete chaos. Us Vikings didn't understand anything that's going on, they won't die me and the riders are attacking in the air but we had to fight on the ground because they needed help. We are in the middle of the town square, I look around and I see a Vampire heading towards Astrid and I made a quick decision. I ran towards her and shoved Astrid out of the way she landed about a foot away from me but...It caused the Vampire to turn me into one of them when they bit me accidentally. Once that happened, the Vampires were ordered to retreat.

Once Astrid looked up she saw me laying motionless where she was last and I was bleeding on the neck, she panicked and yelled while running over to me"HICCUP!" This made the gang, Dad, and Gobber runs over quickly while yelling various forms of my name like Son, Laddie, Hiccup, H, Cuz, and others.

I was picked up by Gobber the last thing I heard before slipping into unconscious was dad barking out orders and Astrid and Gobber say "Stay with us, just a bit a little bit longer please Hiccup/Laddie were almost there, were alm-"

When I woke up I was at my house, I groaned and someone Tackled me to the ground. Once I opened my eyes I saw it was Astrid and Hugged her back when we pulled away I said. "Hi? Wait- How long was I out?" 

"About a week, AGAIN," Astrid said annoyed I rose my hands up in surrender weakly.  She smiled and said sternly "Gothi said she needed to talk to you when you wake I'm going to get her STAY. PUT." 

"Alright alright, I'll stay," I replied while she walked out. I sigh having a slight idea of what happened to me. Hopefully, I didn't get turned into a Vampire...if I did I'll have to leave alone no one can come not even...Toothless it'll be safer that way. My thoughts were broken when Gobber and Gothi entered.

I looked up and Gobber repeated, "Whatever is said here stays here understood?" We nodded, "Hiccup, I know you have suspicions and they are correct, you were corned what?" *smacked with staff* "Right sorry! turned into a Vampire." Gobber gasped and continued "You have to stay away from Hard? Ow! Holy water, Silver, steaks Ow! Sorry! Stakes, and Eels? Seriously?" Gothi Nodded and continued "And the sunlight thing is a myth, You also have to drink more blood for the first month or so but after you only have to drink about 3 parks?OW sorry! pints a day. We know that vampires have fangs, Enhanced strength, senses, extremely fast healing, shapesharding Ow! Shapeshifting and one of them we know is a bat so-flight, and everything is enhanced on the fill Ow! full moon including bloodlust. But we don't know if they are immortal" 

"Hiccup are you okay?" Gobber asks not repeating what gothi 'draws'

"Yea, this just changes things...a lot...DON'T. TELL. MY. FRIENDS. OR. MY. DAD. GOBBER." I say sternly at Gobber while my eyes turn a little red.

"Woah Woah Hiccup calm down I won't. okay? Now drink" He said claiming me down while handing me a cup with blood in it.

I look at the cup and ask "Uhh...is this human blood?" 

"Don't know, a Vampire came back and left a whole crate of blood saying it was for ye for the first month," Gobber replied shrugging. I shrugged and drank it when I was done I had a disgusted face.

"Bleck, that tastes horrible! I have to drink at least two more don't I?" I say unhappily

"Yup, sorry lad. The vampire said this would happen but you'll get used to it and you CAN eat human food but you have to drink blood." Gobber replied handing me two more I drink them fast so I don't have to taste it so much. 

"Yup still gross," I say

"Ah, sarcasm. just keep the bandage on your neck for about a week so no one gets suspicious."Gobber suggests while Gothi leaves to her hut.

"Yea, I think I'll do that," I say following Gobber out of the house.

I head to the arena where everyone is including Toothless. I smirk, deciding to prank them a little bit. I speak in a spooky voice. "HoW DaRe YoU Do ThAt!"

They jump and Ruff and Tuff screamed "GHOST!" and started running towards the door but I close it when they are one foot away from the exit. "HEY! MEAN GHOST!"

Astrid rolls her eyes and whispers to Fishlegs thanks to the enhanced hearing I can hear her "It's probably Hiccup trying to get revenge on those three muttonheads" pointing to the twins and Snotlout he nods in understanding

"Oh, you think I'm a ghost eh? I'm not exactly that...BUT I AM YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE!" I continue

"What? NO! WE AREN'T AFRAID OF YOU!" Snotlout Yells out.

"You sure about that snotty? Keep an eye open at night then...." I say in a spooky voice trying to hold in my laughter Astrid and Fishlegs are too.

Snotlout gulps and the three muttonheads Run to the door and yell "LET US OUT OF HERE!" I walk into the light that they can see and bust into laughter soon follows Fishlegs and Astrid. "Wait HICCUP! YOUR EVIL!"

"What? It was funny! For me at least." I tell them while I open the door and jump down. Toothless runs over to me and nudges me and I hug his head, Fishlegs, Snotlout, and the twins say something along the lines of "Glad you're okay"

Astrid is a different story...she stomped over to me and punched me on the arm I yelped in pain. Huh, she can hurt a Vampire with a punch pretty bad impressive."That's for scaring me" She said and then kissed me on the lips and added while brushing her bangs out of the way "That's for everything else" I smiled. Classic Astrid, If only she knew...but now I can't tell her ever or my plan might be ruined. And it would hurt me to see her die knowing I might not be able to follow her someday as a lover if I do tell her. 

"LETS RACE!" Snotlout yelled. We roll our eyes but I say "game on"
